Im a skeptic to the bone and pardon me if I don't take "unamed sources" and "press row gossip" seriously.
and you do realize a lot of press row gossip happens because the fighters managers trainers and promoters gossip as well right?
often times to us
case in point. I knew about the Arreola trainer switch a long time ago but sat on it along with another media type because Henry asked us to.
stuff happens all the time

Now if this is the case (and kind of backed up by his strange weight of 144.6 for Margarito) then how do you account for him simply not cutting AND having his caloric intake increased yet maintaining his fight night weight as his weigh in weight
but yet he is
I would think if it was the same old Manny one would think the increase in his caloric intake combined with him not cutting would have him bigger, probably in the 150s.
if it's legit, which I am on the fence, then it's a great method as to how they get him ripped and targeted. Not very many conditioners are successful at that
could be but it's marginal
but it's still within the ballpark or else why say it
never used that.
see I like this type of debate because it's good to stretch the mind IMO
good stuff
I think they just use that to justify the catch weight.
As for the bolded part again ariza could just be making stuff up tbh but i dont know. i cant comment on his intake because it's just Ariza and i have no facts to analyze that. It's not like when they weigh manny for fights they mention his body fat % where i could say look manny gained so and so without the water weight

Thats great and all but it's hard to take anyone who writes for an internet based company seriously. No body of work, no investigative journalism, no actual relationships built with fighters. Essentially that writing is nothing more than a message board loud mouth who has good grammer and is in love with the sound of their own voice.
Were any "legitimate" journalists present? Probobly not! How many glorified message board warriors were having the discussion? When you say press row be a little more specific about what you mean when you say "press".

nice guy but kind of slippery when breaking down what he does for Manny in terms of what he gives him, never really going beyond surface level even when pressed a bit
could be that he has hit upon a mix or blend of the right items to fuel Manny and keep his weight on point
could be something else

You do realize there is a diffrence in a switch in trainers and accusing the PFP #1 fighter in the world of using steroids right?
See this is why I can't take internet bloggers seriously. Had it been Matthew Aguilar who actually writes for a major newspaper and has a tremendous body of work writing about the sport in a legitimate fashion he would of broken the story months before the clown and his family opened their mouths. Forgive me if "well we were talking about it in press row" doesn't make me roll my ***ing eyes.

Not saying this means he is on something, but moving up 2 weight classes and stopping fighters is a little different than moving up 8 weight classes and pummeling them to death. Just saying.

you do realize that I was showing you that talk among fellow media people happens all the time and not comparing the severity of what we talk about right
I mean you did get that out of what I said and not that I think they're the same right
please tell me you're not this bad?
