Merchant is the same guy who was going on and on during the fight when it was a foregone conclusion that Floyd would win about how Mosley was too old and he never once said Mosley had a chance to beat Floyd. Now that he's fighting Pacquiao he's supposedly a dangerous opponent again. Come on old man Merchie.

Marquez is a good retirement fight for Pacquiao. It's a nice fight to finish off his career. But at the moment, he's not retiring yet.
Nice try. What you call cleaning up the welterweight division I like to call cleaning up the loser's bracket. Clottey, coming off a loss. Margarito, coming off a loss. Mosley, coming off a loss. Nuff said.

BTW, if Pac was so interested in cleaning out divisions why no Braldey, Alexander, or even Maidana at 140. Why no Casamayor or Campbell at lightweight? Why no Raheem at 130? Why no Ayala, "Bone" Adams, Vazquez, Larios, or Tapia at 122? Why no "Too Sharp" Johnson at flyweight? Its very convienient to claim he's cleaning up a division when he's fight one cat after another coming off loses. But where was this clean up attitude in year's past when actual compelling fights were on the table?

Merchant's old age must be getting to him too.

just when I was starting to like merchant again he goes and says some ****** shiaat like that ,surley arum gave him some incentive to try and hype up this garbage of a fight.berto presents 20 times the danger mosley does, mosley aint won in 2 years, or scored a ko in 2 years, whos more dangerous a 27 year-old unbeaten champ that just scored a ko win 3 weeks ago or a 40 year old totally past his prime 40 year -old who aint won in 2 years??? gimme a break dont buy this garbage for the good of the sport. if i pay 60 $ I expect to see a fight meaning evenly matche opponents not a clown show, trying to hype up a clown into something he isnt.

The JMM fight would have meant more just based on their history together, but Mosley is more dangerous at WW than JMM. He really only had 2 options and that was Berto or Mosley. He made the wrong choice.

No Berto would had been the most dangerous choice. High risk and low reward, young fast and a natural WW. If Pac loses against Mosley it would not look as bad as losing to Berto

I agree with LARRY;and we know STYLES MAKE FIGHTS!!!
I remember MALIGNAGGI said after MOSLEY-PBF that if MANNY will face MOSLEY the fight should be totally different;NOW MANNY SHOWS ONCE AGAIN HIS BALLS!!!
                Anyway MARQUEZ-MANNY at 147 is a murder!

Mosley is completely washed out. He should have fought Marquez.

You are 100% right BUT Pac JMM should take place at JWW. Nobody can say Pac cant make JWW anymore. He just chooses not to because its closer to the weight class that JMM is known to look good at unlike WW. Not to mention is hypocritical for Pac to DEMAND WW when Cotto demanded WW..... what was the result? A "catchweight"..... Yet not for De La Hoya.... people love to ignore how strategically calculated Pac's career is being handled.

Point being IF Pac wants to fight at WW, then the WBC undefeated Champion was standing by. Arum made it sound as if Pac had very little to pick from. This was not the case... and people WONDER why Mayweather and Pac have yet to get the ring. We cant even get him in the ring with a LW/JWW Champion or a WW Champion, or even a former JMW Champion who wants to fight for his old title.

The point that many are attempting to say Mosley at this point is so dangerous for Pac really degrades Pac and tells me that Mayweather is just THAT much greater than Pac. Because we all know Mosley is old and shot yet everyone saying he's still dangerous just for Pac?

Its not looking "too good" for the terd fan boys who talked trash about when Mayweather and Mosley fought and its even worse for the ones that said Floyd would never get in the ring with Mosley yet flipped the script when the fight was over bashing how old and shot Mosley was..... I wonder what happened to change this outlook?
