Well what about the people who were born in the same place?
Oh well they were born at different times!
Well what about someone who was born at the same time and the same place?
Well this guy's mom was a different star sign...
IT IS BUNK!

it matters at the highest professional level when 2 athletes are seemingly at the same level. and it has been proven.
if astrology is just a random distribution then you should be able to list just as many ATG leo, aquarius, and scorpio fighters. i am giving you 3 signs not just one. this should be easy.
u can start listing them and we can compare your list to the Capricorn, Taurus and Cancer list.
Also different patterns can be observed each time by different subjects. So u may see a pattern in fighters star signs, but their actual styles and success rates may have a very different pattern, plus people here have talked about how it actually depends on a persons parents star signs, which leads to an infinite regress of possibilities.
Then u add into it genetics, lifestyle etc, the only conclusion is that there is no way of deciphering if star signs have any effect on anyone.

random distribution often results in patterns due to low data pools to draw from. However, as the pool becomes larger and largeer the distribution almost completely evens out... that is if the selection as you say is completely random and at even odds. That is why every legit research needs to base the study on a large pool of candidates. the larger the pool, the more accurate and unbiased the study becomes. That is the whole concept of how casino's make profit. sure some guy can get lucky and hit his #'s twice or 3 times in a row on the wheel and maybe come out on top 1 lucky night. but if he plays 1000 nights the casino will beat him in the end.
Now in the history of boxing the ATG list is generated from a pool of literally 10s of millions of contenders over 100 years. That is a very very vast pool to draw samples from so as I said if astrology didn't matter then even distribution of the ATG's should fall across all 12 zodiacs right? But yet it isn't the case. So I will still be waiting as you compile the list of ATG aquarian, scorpio and leo boxers.
Now that aside, characteristics of fighters definitely matter. let me use 1 example.
Jack Dempsey. Julio Cesar Chavez. Jake Lamotta. Vitali Klit. Mike Tyson. Marcos Maidana. Carl Froch. Brock Lesnar. Wanderlei Silva. Randy Couture.
All fight in the same aggressive, forward pressing manner. they all share the same zodiac sign.Last edited by Rassclot; 01-04-2011, 03:48 PM.

Plus, i dont think they do have the same star sign.

i'm just naming cancer champions and hall of famers off of the top of my head.
what is unbiased is the vast pool of boxing history. I will still be waiting as you compile the list off ATG aquarian, scorpio and leo boxers. Don't be so thick-skulled. Try it and come back with your findings.

If u look for any specific category with such wide generalisations u can find it.
Ur ATG list will be different from mine. Thats my point.

note: I am not talking about opinionated rankings I'm talking about just the ATG list as a whole. Anyone in the ATG list has been validated as the very best at some point and that is enough.
so go ahead and find me some aquarian, scorpio and leo ATG's regardless of where you think they rank in the top 50 or 100.

my argument is this. the 3 most important aspects are ascending, sign in mars and sign in sun. great boxers usually have strong aspects in all 3. however some greats can have very strong aspects in 2 of them while lacking 1. they usually have glaring weaknesses.
If you have a detriment in any of those 3 then it is very difficult to make it in the long run as an ATG(reign of dominance) because someone will expose that weakness at some point.
Fighters with just their sun sign in a detriment in scorpio, leo or aquarius very rarely make it that far and long at the very top of an unforgiving sport like boxinig. we are not going to bother with the other aspects now. this is astrology 101.Last edited by Rassclot; 01-04-2011, 04:11 PM.
