ODLH (lost all of his biggest fights). he could've won the trinidad(capricorn) fight but quit in the later rounds.

Prince Naseem (quit first time he stepped up to world class, Barrera(Capricorn))

Victor Ortiz, despite being vastly more skilled than Maidana with all the right guidance from goldenboy got blasted out by Maidana(cancer) and straight up quit even though he could've won if he stuck to boxing.

Danny Jacobs, same thing. hyped up and got blasted by Pirog(cancer)

i addressed this in an earlier post. the reason why is that in a team you are rarely performing at 100% at all times. you are not nearly as pressured and pushed to the limit as you would be in a combat sport. team also has to do with cohesion with your teamates. so as a result the likeable, accomdating signs usually are the greatest. Jordan, Shaq, Magic, Ruth, Gretsky, C Ronaldo are either pisces or aquarians. widely regarded as the least powerful fighters individually.

They are great team players though.
im still reading the thread. very interesting & alarmingly funny & scary predictions on fights just based on astrological reading. i hear the team sports, so we can do self based sports like tennis, golf, track & field.

i wonder what federer, agassi, nadal, usain bolt, carl lewis etc. charts look like.

I disagree with emmanuel having the perfect chart for boxing. The true greatest Sugar Ray Robinson had a Sagittarius Ascendant, Taurus Sun, and Pisces Moon.

If I was making the chart for an ultimate boxer, I'd give him a FIRE ASCENDANT and EARTH SUN.
      dude don't get defensive.

I use the term detriment loosely. I only mean detriment for BOXING. Pisces is one of the weakest sun signs along with Aquarius. those are actually the 2 weakest.

I did the ATG list break down. There were only 2 Pisceans with Floyd being one of them.

Pacquiao has a ridiculous chart and you know it. It's one of those charts that can be put up against anybody. It has all the best signs astrologically.

A lot of Virgo fighters fight balls to the wall.

Erik Morales, Chico, Toney, Julian Jackson, JMM, etc...

        Dempsey (ATG)

        Mickey Walker (ATG)

        Sandy Saddler (ATG)

        Ezzard Charles (ATG)

        Julio Cesar Chavez (ATG)

        Jake Lamotta (ATG)

        Michael Spinks (ATG)

        Mike Tyson (HOF)

        Active:

        Vitali Klitschko

        Froch

        Canelo

        Juanma

        Chad Dawson

        Maidana

        Scorpio has........

        Larry Holmes (ATG)

        Active:

        Miguel Cotto

        Antonio Tarver

        David Tua

        Kermit Cintron

        ummmmmmmmmmmmmm.........
another funny observation is that cancer beats scorpios h2h almost exclusively. Larry Holmes lost to Spinks X2 and Tyson. both Cancer.

Cotto lost to Margarito (cancer moon and Mars), Pacquiao (Cancer moon)

        Tarver lost to Dawson X2

Pascal however beat Dawson. but Froch beat Pascal.

Cintron also lost to Margarito X2

Cancers are just more powerful than scorpios by evidence. They have relentless pressure matched ridiculous emotional tidal wave of power and a hardshell to take punishment.

Scorpio are a lesser extent to that. The scorpio influence gives punching power but they always seem to crack at the highest level.

Hey what kind of Moon do you think is the best for boxing? It would be an advantage for to the moon in one of the influences that are good for boxing like Capricorn, Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius, or Virgo, but I haven't seen a clear trend for a dominant Moon in the ATGs yet. It seems to be all over for the Moons.

Use those sites to see their Moons, Ascendants, Mars, etc. If they don't have a chart already up, you can find their birthday on wikipedia and input it into a natal chart.

I appreciate that. I am a skeptic by nature and have gone through some extent to examine the sport of boxing along with astrology.

The reason why is because boxing is the only sport where every fight a fighter has to be operating at their limit through the entire duration... fighters are naked. You can see how a human being performs at the highest level of individual pressure. you may not see this in a team sport where if a fighter takes a night off..... nobody will really notice it because the attention isn't always fixated on them. even if their team lose, they can come back couple of nights later. You will not see an individual's real nature and their limit in the office in contained day to day grind because nobody is really performing at their limit in the office chair.

Boxers are the only athletes that are performing at their limit every time they fight They are also fighting another human being, so the interaction of astrology is more prominent in this sport than any other.

Another combat sport, MMA is much tougher at this point. the MMA talent pool is so shallow and the skillsets haven't been buffed out enough to really look at fighter's astrological attributes yet. because the relative skills in MMA have much more aspects than boxing. Currently, the signs of top fighters are a mixed bag. however there was a trend of air signs dominating MMA. MMA still requires more thinking at this point because the skills are not 2nd nature to the fighters yet. Nobody in the current talent pool grew up training all aspects of MMA like in boxing where kids grow up boxing.

Fedor(GOAT). Big Nogs. Rampage. Machida. Matt Hughes. Rich Franklin. Frankie Edgar. all air signs

if it's so advanced you should be able to pick every fight based on astrology but as you said extremist astrology is a life time study. it's like playing with fire. way to complex and I don't really buy into it.

i just believe in picking up attributes from astrology.

AStrologers have predicted earthquakes, wars to superbowl winners and stock market events.

theres no extremist astrology except for reading daily horoscopes which do the science a great disservice with nonsense they print in the paper and elsewhere.

are you a millionaire from betting based on astrology yet? You must be from the way you're talking.

until you start calling fights with accuracy, you need to get off that high horse.

to be honest with you, I only look at the moon when the ascending sign isn't available (birth times).

I actually feel the moon sign isn't nearly as importantly but maybe only the next 1 up after the big 3(ascending, mars, sun). Professional boxers should be able to turn that aspect off if they choose to. I feel it only comes into play at their own downtime or family time. The moon aspect becomes apparent.

In a fight, as long as the fighter has a strong sun then the moon shouldn't affect them that much. The sun will shut out the moon. However if the fighter has a weak sun then the moon will come out. Start crying, quitting etc.

See what I noticed is that some of the guys born under Suns that don't have reputations for lots of boxing potential have the Moon in a great sign for boxing.

                      Some examples:
Thomas Hearns (Libra Sun) with a Capricorn Moon
Floyd Jr (Pisces Sun) with a Taurus Moon
Salvador Sanchez (Aquarius Sun) with a Virgo Moon
Jose Napoles (Aries Sun) with a Cancer Moon
Joe Calzaghe (Aries Sun) with a Taurus Moon
Harry Greb (Gemini Sun) with a Cancer Moon
Gene Tunney (Gemini Sun) with a Cancer Moon
Evander Holyfield (Libra Sun) with a Cancer Moon
Ricardo Mayorga (Libra Sun) with a Capricorn Moon
