Manny Pacquiao: Skills or smart MATCH MAKING?

You can't discredit Manny pac's accomplishments, this guy gives it all. If you don't see skills in Manny then you need to get your eyes checked. Boxing fans will appreciate him more when he retires.

so how good he is cant be said but we do know the last time he fought a prime, crafty and excellent boxer, he weny life and death with twice.
then the careful match making began.
the moment he accepts those blood test with no cut offs. floyd will show that manny is a b class fighter.

Any sane person wouldn't say floyd is a b class fighter if he loses to pac.
Unless of course if that person is ...

Margarito?

And what style was that again, like you just said?
The kid had an 18 month lay off.. fought Floyd and couldnt pull the trigger after round 2, and looked literally horrible against Mora... hugging or no huggin... it's not like Mosley pulled the trigger and tried to catch Mora coming in.. hell, Mosley initiated just as many hugs as Mora did.
See in your previous posts, you say.. what opponents looked good going into a Pac fight?
But now you say "anything can happen in a fight".
Well I could of said that about Hatton, Cotto, Clottey or Margarito..
Mosley hasn't shown me anything in 2 years that he can do ANYTHING to Pacquiao.
All that tells us that he can... is what he used to be able to do.
But, I haven't seen that for quite some time.
Margarito is the only fight...
And like you used the style excuse for Pac throwing 7 punch combinations...
I use the style excuse for Mosleys knockout of Margarito.
Pac isn't Margarito.
I don't use the dismantling of Mosley to Floyd in my analysis, because I believe Floyd is simple on another level, and there is no other fighter in the world who could make Mosley look so foolish as Floyd did. Floyd did the same thing to Marquez, simply because he is far superior.
Mosley isn't what he was in 2001 or 2002, but I think he's live, and his style with Pacquiao makes a good fight. It would not be anything like Mayweather/Mosley, as Pacquiao is simply not as good as Floyd.
That is what I believe. Time will tell, if this fight happens we'll see who is correct and we'll see how he performs with a guy that will fight "His" kind of fight in Manny Pacquiao.
If the fight doesn't happen, as it hasn't int he past... Then we can only assume that Top Rank too saw Mosley as too big of a threat for Manny...

Against a fighter like Pacquiao? Hell no. They are not punchers, they are come forward, and they are SLOW AS MAPLE SYRUP IN THE FREEZER.

Aside from that, those are both great match-ups for Manny's favor. They're flat footed, slow handed, come forward guys who simply do not possess the speed to catch Manny.
Manny's career since 2005 has been mostly superb matchmaking.
When they took on the fight with Morales that they lost, that was good matchmaking. Morales was slipping and thought to have nothing left and Roach was quoted as saying "He is shot, we're going to walk right through this guy."
That's just a testament as to how Manny is not quite as good as most people people. It's hard to say now, as the wool over everyone's eyes is so thick, but we have not seen him fight a game opponent in years, so we can only assume its the excellent matchmaking of Bob Arum.

Also, Clottey is very underrated.
I got a question ... how do you classify the last 3 opponents of JMM (casamayor, diax (2x), katsidis ... not including floyd, he got dominated) ?
I would of liked to see this fight about 4-5 years prior.
Diaz.... Pressure, pressure, pressure... a very good capapble fighter.. but sort of a one trick pony. He basically imposes his will on you, throwing punches in bunches, and he doesn't like to stop. JMM used his style on Diaz, similar to what Casa did to Kats... use his boxing ability and counter punching to use Diaz' pressure against him. Diaz looked great in the beginning and middle round.. making it look like JMM was in for a long night, hurting JMM a few times.. but then is when JMM is at his best, and his awareness even more heightened... and basically Diaz trying to close the show only led him to being closed on himself... In the rematch... Diaz decided coming straight at JMM was a bad idea, and to try to be more passive aggressive and box more.
Sounds like a good idea... but Diaz is simply not a better boxer than JMM, and that was going to be a lose-lose situation...
Katsidis... good fighter... big pressure fighter like Diaz, but a much bigger puncher.. so he brought a bigger risk... also youth was on his side just like Diaz.. I think Kats tried to box in the first 2 rounds, and then decided this isn't going to work, and he put everything he had into trying to make the 37 year old wear out... but once again, this ended up playing into JMM hands.... Kats made it a very close fight, but JMM awesome stamina and energy allowed him to keep consistently throwing 4-5 punch combinations, and Kats got reduced down to pressuring, but not really throwing as much in the later rounds... eventually his pressure led to his downfall...
All 3 are good fighters... Casa was better than both Kats and Diaz in his prime... Kats and Diaz were both young good pressure fighters, but it feel right into JMM hands...
I think Juan Diaz - Michael Katsidis would be a great matchup right now..

I am tired of him fighting guys with virtually no chance. Fight somebody with a chance. That's what "competition" is called.
If he continues to fight shot, flat footed, come forward guys with no speed yes, I will **** on him all day.
