Margarito and Cotto could have got it, like Manny could but
it all boils down to bob Arum..........

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

wifebeater will fight scared against pac. pac has the mental edge.

wifebeater doesn't throw enough punches to keep pac off him. pac has the physical edge.

wifebeater fighting scared and not throwing punches will get outworked... similar to clottey who also was fighting scared and not throwing punches.

Comparing Mayweather to Clottey is super weak. They're not in the same league. Pac will land about 20% against May, May will land 80% against Pac. It's Pac that would slow his output when he keeps getting tagged with that jab and lead right all night 9-3 rds Money May by UD.

lol The "smaller guys" argument. lol He defeats JMM and Hatton who's the same size as Pac and now he fights nothing but "smaller guys"...... yet we want him to fight Pac? Contradicting??????

People act like Floyd's a BIG 147-154 lber.... Dude's prime weight is at 135 but moved up to beat 2 out of the TOP 3 guys at 147 and THEN moved up to fight a much BIGGER man at 154 who everyone said he was scared of in Hoya with ALL the advantages in Hoya's favor.... Floyd moved up to the money fights just as Pac is now doing....

If one can discredit Floyd's win over Mosley, surely one can discredit Pac's wins over Hoya, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito using the very same logic.

One problem, Mosley was THE MAN to beat at 147 and wasnt recently destroyed like Hatton, Cotto and Margarito was. Mosley was never weight drained like Hoya or coming off a loss or just NEVER wins a fight like Clottey. He was THE MAN and Floyd "picked" to fight him when Pac wouldn't. Pac now wants him though..... will that make Mosley prime again? Will he be such a BIG threat and we will all forget about his loss to Mayweather and Draw to the "Latin Snake"? Seems to be the trend when Pac "picks" them to fight. They ALL become the "BIGGER" threat and we seem to forget the bigger picture.

It's like talking to 5 year olds on here. He's gonna be fighting scared?? That's the analysis. I don't like Floyd either, his style and skills are Pac's kryptonite though. The more Pac throuws the more he's open to get countered. Pac's hope is that he is a southpaw, and he might surprise Floyd with one or two shots. Pac has had the best career of this generation but Floyd is always gonna be completely wrong for him.
