Margarito has an all time chin. No doubt.

But this "warrior" crap is overrated. The fight should have been stopped. I don't see what's so heroic about it, I'm sorry. I'm not talking **** about him, it was impressive.

I don't really have a problem with Margarito, in fact I didn't really like seeing him take a beating like that. He's proven his chin, no one needed to see that.

Fight should've been stopped, and everyone involved in not stopping it should be ashamed of themselves.
    Facts,

boxing is a sport of combat.

Margarito tried and kept throwing punches back in every single round. That can't be said about some fighters who simply pack it in and run in reverse when they know they can't win.

To you, the warrior label and mindset is overrated,

but its a part of the sport, its legacy and history and will never be erased.

That warrior mentality which you state is so overrated,

has kept boxing afloat for generations.

That's not quitting. He had a fractured orbital bone. If Garcia stops that fight, he would have been in the right.

Tony has balls, no doubt. But that could have been his career.

That was his career, he made 6 plus mill for this fight. He doesn't need to fight again.

He needs to retire, his last 3 fights (garcia excluded) have been brutal.

              He's done.

This. They'll always be tied to each other. Might as well have another war before they're both officially done.

It reminded me of the fight scene in Cool Hand Luke. Margo wouldnt give up. Personally I think his corner should have saved him from himself though and was suprised they didnt. I think it had more to do with Garcia not being with Margo too long and not wanting to be responsible for ending such a big fight against Margs wishes..
