I've seen volume punchers who don't stop throwing punches, but the connect percentage is in the single digits, and isn't effective.. hence that is boring to me.
On the flipside, when you have guys like Floyd or a prime Roy Jones, who didn't throw a lot of punches, but their accuracy and effectiveness when they did throw was second to none, and it made you sit on the edge of your seat to see the next time they threw a punch.
It's all subjective.

While your sitting on your couch eating lays potato chips yelling at the tv because so and so won't throw a punch.
He's in the ring, seeing that his opponent is setting him up for a counter punch if he throws at a particular opening.
Give me a specific example.

BLACK FIGHTERS AND HEART
Although I do believe Devon Alexander is a straight warrior.
P.s., it's a testament to Fischer's article that James Kirkland was only hyped in my eyes, because he wasn't a typical moder Afro-American fighter, who just backed up all the time. He brawled.

and your comebacks was even worse, your debating because you don't want to be wrong, you feel that your way is RIGHT and it is not because that is not how boxing works, sure as a selfish boxing fan I would love to see two guys just stand in the middle of the ring and punch each other in the head until someone goes down, sure it is entertaining, but I also can't be mad at the guy that chooses to use ALL OF HIS SKILLS and is willing to find another way to win then to just stand and trade back and forth until someone goes down
we as fans are not getting HIT so it is easy for us to say do this or do that when we are on the outside looking and to say what should and shouldn't be because again we are not getting HIT with those punches, Defense might not be entertaining TO YOU but it is entertaining to others, I enjoyed watch Pernell Whitaker make his opponents look so bad and so slow, that was entertaining TO ME, others called it "Running" or what ever which is fine, I enjoy watching Mayweather counter to hell out of his opponents for 12 Rounds, it would be selfish for me to say "HEY MAYWEATHER GO FOR THE KO" when he is pitching a shutout and is picking his opponent apart
fans want things THEIR WAY but Boxing and SPORTS IN GENERAL doesn't work like that, in Baseball sometimes their will be Home Runs and sometimes it won't be just like Boxing sometimes it will be KO's and sometimes it won't be, but to expect a fighter to focus entertaining first instead of winning...that is the dumbest **** I ever heard lol

The numbers don't lie. Fans know they're being cheated when they watch certain fighters.
I'll leave it at that.
From the fact that they're pampered HBO hypejobs (Floyd, Jones, Berto etc.) to the actual way the fights play out.
Always dull 12 rounders.
Guys like this should be viewed with contempt because they're anti-boxing and are killing the sport one lackluster letdown fight at a time.
