Do people realise how dangerous Margarito is

He's in it for the payday. I mean maybe his last fight was not impressive because he was just trying to get some rounds in (I think it was just because he's shot), but in that case why would he take such a huge fight without testing his true skills first? This will be a complete mismatch.

I have to admit. Margarito was a beast.

I dont think he was the most skilled fighter , I actually think he wasnt that skilled at all.. But just his attitude , his toughness , his heart , chin , etc etc etc. Made him a tough opponent for top dogs for years.

At this point , I dont think he can **** with Manny , just because of what Manny has become.A beast.

But maybe 3 years ago , Pacquiao would have not even considered going into a ring with margarito , or Cotto or Clottey for that matter.

I think TS has a point. Margarito is not a push over.

But anyone with decent skills should outbox Margaritos ears off.

I also think the old Margarito does deserve this fight. But after the wraps , he doesnt. Either way , I see Pacquiao stopping him.

But I cannot stand people that think he got caught "attempting" to cheat for the first time.

There are some dumbasses posting on here that say , they found no plaster.

Of course they found no plaster because the calcium and sulfur did not get time or moisture to get hard inside the gloves.

If he would have warmed up in the locker room , then it would have gotten hard , and at the end they would have found "THE PLASTER"

It just like if I had Coffee on the Coffee maker with water. Unless you turn it on and get the water to boil , ur not going to get coffee. But the intention is pretty clear.

Margarito made exciting fights. Did he cheat , only god knows.

But you really have to be blind to not see past the little evidence they got.

Pacquiao has exactly what it takes to frustrate margarito with EASE.

Too much speed , too much movement , too many angles , to many punches , too much work in the ring , too much confidence going for him , too much heart and guts.

Cotto lasted that long because he was trying to prove to himself that he wasnt a quitter. And something that helped him was that he is actually a decent boxer. and had enough IQ to know how to survive.

Margarito in the other hand is a face first warrior. And only knows how to do one thing. Rely on his chin. So Pacquiao will land at will. And thats pretty much the tune for this fight.

I dont really support it. But I dont blame Pacquiao to test himself , with a ex champ , a bigger guy , a guy who not be in his best time and might not fight in his best weight , but a guy that has heart and guts , and comes to win by FIGHTING in every sense of the word.

Either way , warrior or not. Margaritos chin has been cracked , and I dont see him holding up to Pacs fury.

You get that analysis from the Mosley fight but Margarito wasnt 100% mentally for certain reasons.

If the guy has a good training camp and comes in healthy physically and mentally - I wouldnt be surprised if Pacquiaio loses

If i was roach or bob arum, i would have made this at 147. At Welterweight, Pacquiao does him over de la hoya style.

Trust me 150lber Pacquaio vs Margarito is a tough fight. Unless they put a limitation to Margarito rehydrating weight. Imagine him blowing up to 160 in 24hours

Sorry dude, but they didn't change in favor of Whitaker and Pernell certainly didn't suddenly get better. In fact he looked terrible against Hurtado in the fight prior to Delahoya. Whitaker was in decline and was the UNDERDOG against Delahoya. Don't try to rewrite history.
