Now I hope people stop believing Arum's crap
where is your proof that elerbee is right? Didn't he say live on air that floyd doesn't inject things into his hands. Thats a fat lie to everyone. Dude obviously would do anything to defend floyd from criticism,.

that doesn't fly Webb...why would he be called that if he went out and threw Arum's 'bluff' back in his face?

what's the worse that can happen? the fight doesn't happen? LOL

It does fly, Mak. This is Floyd Jr we are talking about here. Media enemy #1. No matter his stance, Floyd was NOT going to win a media battle with Bob Arum. No way, at all. But, I don't think that it would have been hard to do at all though.

all this negative spotlight would be taken off him and thrown at Arum...it's a simple counter really....

unless he doesn't want the fight....
I kinda get it, but I am not sure it was done deliberately. Perhaps (and this is a big leap of faith) he and his camp knew that arum would hang himself with his lies.

Agreed. I think Floyd realized the first go-around that it's pointless. If the media was going to blame him for that fiasco then there is pretty much nothing he can do to help his case. He's been quiet and, quite frankly, that was the best thing he did. Arum and co dug their own graves quite nicely.

The irony of Floyd assuming the 'villain' role does not always guarantee him everything goes HIS way or the highway.

Kinda like 'who lives by the sword' sorta thing.

I wonder when Bryant Gumpball (spelling?) is going to do his HBO Real Sports profile on all of this. I think the results will be interesting and telling.

dude, if Floyd came on ESPN and said EXACTLY what i put down in the first post, EVERYONE will look at Arum to get something done

if Arum backs down, then guess who looks like a *****? not Floyd

then Floyd can go on his merry way...back to vacation, retirement, another fight...it wont matter because he did his part

anytime they ask him about PAC, all he has to do is remind people when he called out Arum

                  but he wont

yes...the best thing he can do is not call out Arum's bluff and let the fight pass by

It's extremely difficult when nobody even contacted you, your team, or your manager. And the promoter's own insider admitted that Arum is a big fat liar who never even intended to make the fight happen and was planning Margarito vs Pacquiao months ago.
