no, becuase when they do fight t will be just as big or bigger. Don't believe for 1 second that this disappointment will deter folk from buying that fight.

Just think, floyd put on a masterful performance against shane mosely and 2 months later they are calling him a coward for saying nothing

fans are fickle, they upset now...but they still pay!

        Yeah fair enough mate!

One thing about majority of the fans is THEY HAVE SHORT TERM HATRED lol.

As soon as the fight get's made everyone's on the prowl again just like the first time it was tackled.

          2.4 mil ppv ODH
          950k ppv hatton
          1.01 ppv JMM
          1.4 mil ppv Mosley

Not to mention the ratings on 24/7 when floyd gets in gorilla dog mode. At the end of the day Ross is following the money!!

Good for Floyd then if you're right mate. But to tell you frankly, IDGAS whoever Ross wanna sleep with either of the two, after all, it's all about the benjamins...and I'm just a sucker for fights.

Be right back as a monsoon's brewing here.

lol...no doubt. Nothing changes under the sun!

Sad thing is, if floyd beats manny with ease like the other opponents. Bradley or martinez or williams they will scream next. This will cont. Until floyd loses or retires for good. Got to love boxing!

yeah floyd is acting like he is above everything but so what. i'm not saying he couldn't have said something. but by not saying anything and having people go ****ing crazy he is almost proving his assertion he is bigger than the sport. floyd probably is stroking himself knowing people want to hear from him so he is playing his charachter and not giving them anything. by not saying anything he is making it about HIM and not the fight. he gets to piss people off by not saying anything. i'm sure he loves that.

from an attention getting perspective its the right move. its like floyd's version of "the decision" like lebron. i just find it funny myself.
lol dude you really are a diehard floyd fan if you can come up w/ this kind of interpretation from what he gave the media.

arum promised margarito a fight with pac, he stands by his word, thats a good thing.
but he also tried to use floyds name to promote the fight with a press conference.
so why should floyd take the bait ?
he knows pac will fight margarito first, regardless of what he says.
any reaction from floyd would just hype the fight, thats why he stays quiet.
if manny really wants a fight with floyd, he has to leave top rank, or he can wait until 2013.
arum will try everything to keep manny in the game for as long as possible.
man you know this is bull. cotto and marg's name were only brought up nearing the deadline. but when arum started telling the media about the 2nd round of negotiations, it was all floyd.

he didn't give the media anything. look at it this way, he could easily just not take questions and avoid having to deal with them. at the hoops game he could have just said no comment. instead he lets them ask about the fight then he gives a completely nonsensical answer. its just silly and funny to me that makvelli is so up in arms that floyd won't respond to bob!

now what you said now made it worse. he didnt give anything to the media now and still you have that story to tell about in your previous post. that's funny man. i commend you though for being a true diehard fan.

ude i saw your post in the other thread. i mean how does anyone think espn owes floyd an apology.

my point in that post to tamis is floyd is obviously getting his rocks off that people wnat to hear from him. It's like they don't care about the fight just what he says. don't take it out of context or read too much into it.
