Oh, pls. by the 2nd time Pac fought Marquez he was already overdue from the 130lbs weight division, he was already having a hard time making weight. Note: after that fight he move to the next weight class which was 135lbs.

To the thread starter:when you move up in weight the fighters punches are stronger cause a fighter is not use to getting hit by fighters of a higher weight class even if the fighter is a light puncher so the only explanation i got for Pac is that he`s on something that numbs him or significantly reduces the pain of a punch.

not many people ever managed to hurt pacquiao with his feet planted, and what seemed like him getting hurt against marquez was just his foot placing

Also, besides Cotto's jab in the first couple rounds and a couple nicely landed uppercuts, cotto didn't really throw anything that hard. Remember the round when Pac was on the ropes telling cotto to hit him? Cotto was half-assing those punches, he didn't commit 100% to those shots, I don't know why he did that maybe because he didn't want to gas later in the fight but come to think of it, he also did the same **** against Clottey - didn't have a lot of steam on his shots.Last edited by ИATAS; 07-13-2010, 02:46 PM.
