"The knuckle pad didnt seem diffent to ones he had put on my hands before." - Marg

Does this mean he's used Plaster of Paris in the past? This quote confused me. Is he saying that he's used a similar knuckle pad before?

      But he also says:

Margarito is saying it was pre-made knucklepads that Capetillo put on his hands before the Mosley fight. He said it is the only time Capetillo ever used a pre-made pad.
      This is interesting

I guess what he's trying to say is he couldn't feel the difference. To be honest i'm not so sure as to wether he was suspended for plaster of paris or the illegal pad in his wraps.

The illegal pad was plaster of paris, and the only time people contradict themselves is when they are lying.

Even still, the answers Margarito gave are a little weak.

The commissioners are on him pretty good right now. Margarito said he did not ask Capetillo why he used a pre-made knucklepad for the fight even though it was out of the ordinary.

It means he wrapped the same thing on Cotto's hands and pummeled Cotto to pulp

It was for the pads. Which are just rolled up gauze. There was no plaster.

All boxers use those little rolls of gauze over their knuckles. This whole suspension was over a non issue. Its more of a technicality than anything else. Under csac rules its an "infraction". Which is like getting a ticket for driving without a seatbelt.
