Tito' situation is not the same as Margarito's. If any1 saw the 1st fight camp of the Super 6 on Showtime, they showed how Mikkel Kesslers trainer was going 2 wrap his hands and Wards trainer objected. Saying gauze 1st , then tape. No tape on the knuckles 1st, guaze and then the tape. That's what happened with Trinidad. That's why he never got suspended for anything. Tito just fought a guy that wasn't right there 2 be hit and got outclassed. Kinda something like the De La Hoya fight b4 he decided 2 go for a light jog in the middle of a boxing fight. Margarito is a disgrace. Please don't associate the 2.

This is all about what Margarito has left. If the man can still take the same shots he took the first time, Cotto gets stopped again. Clinching and head movement rights the tactical wrongs of the last fight, but Cotto just won't be able to handle him if he can't hurt him.Comment

Yes, thanks for informing me about a fighter's unofficial weight on fight night actually being on a scale as well. I had no idea when Lederman always talks about "our HBO unofficial scale" that he wasn't just talking about taking a picture of the fighter and simply guesstimating a ballpark range (laughing). Not to make your head spin too fast, but you do realize that many times these "unofficial" weigh-ins are done in jump suits and shoes on? And you have heard of Ray Leonard putting weights in his jump suit when he fought for the inaugural super mw strap? And maybe, just maybe, these unofficial scales can be self serving to the network and promoter(s) to not raise any red flags in Vegas for a line not to shift outta control? Then when you finally wrap your head around this, you'll also start to realize why many fighters like a Lil Floyd, RJJ etc. don't even let an HBO unofficially weigh them.Comment

This rematch is shaping up to happen.
I dont care what anybody says Cotto will play it safe and repeat the clinic he was putting on rounds 1-6 in the 1st fight.I could see more head movement and clinch at times.No way margarito ****s on Cott's boxing skills.Brawl is to be avoided.
I'd like to see him get his license exclusively for the rematch.Question is,will toney be the same after the beating he took against mosley?
