I know you didn't. I'm just curious, is all.

Its a better fight for Tua as big Vit is clearly slower and not hitting as hard as he used to.

If he can't get Haye which I doubt he would be able to, he should give it one last shot and try to get Vitali.

fair enough. BTW I'm going to watch Tua vs lewis later on. I believe I've missed out on some great heavyweight fights in the 90's era.

Could you give me a list of "must watch" please?

Come on, what are you basing that on? Tua has never in his professional career even been down (don't mention the Rahman thing as it's irrelevant) let alone stopped. Wlad is a hard puncher, but he took eleven rounds to dispatch Thompson, twelve to dispatch Chambers. Sam Peter finished the fight on his feet and was getting nailed with flush right hands all night long. Peter was stunned and knocked down by McCline. Brewster took massive punishment in two fights and was never laid out. Yet somehow Tua's gonna get KOed? The man's gone but he's not that far gone.

Neither fight is a good fight for Tua. It's more a case of which brother would pound on him less. Vitali would be raining a hail of thudding blows on Tua's dome, whilst Wlad would be sharp shooting him with harder single shots (but less of them over the course of the fight). Haye would be an awesome opponent for Tua but it's never gonna happen.

Can't go wrong with any of his big fights.

                  Holyfield I & II
                  Tyson
                  Vitali
                  Tua

                  For knockouts:
                  Golota
                  Botha
                  Rahman II
                  Briggs

I also love watching the Mavrovic fight due to the insane punishment Mav soaks up throughout the bout.

Can you give me a list of which Earnie Shavers fights (bar the Ellis one) show him sparking someone out Ruiz/Moorer fashion. Cheers.

                    Thanks for the list.

Regarding the question, this is going to take quite some time but I'll give you one of those knock outs for now to keep you busy:

Earnie Shavers(209ib) vs Howard Smith (202ib)

I'll find some more later on

BTW are there any other "ruiz style" knockouts that Tua has done?
