            I don't get the article.

So they don't want it in Qatar?

            Yet offer large sums.

Does that mean they paying that much, and want the gate money?

Arum basically said why the fight should be in Vegas, yet he was so opposed to it earlier this year?

jesus christ guys read the article again...they dont want the fight overseas...they want it in the US. Most likely Vegas...it says clearly in the article they dont want sponsorship or PPV, what the guys from Qatar want is a piece of the gate $$$ and thats where the problem is, Arum puts it that manny will bring in the asian crowd which is very true...he has a very strong following, kinda like the way hatton brings a lot of people including the whole damn band lol. I gotta tell you man i could not be at the fight, just being in Vegas when the fight is happening would be insane, the entire town is flooded and the after parties are sick. Come to think of it i miss Vegas

It is possible,if these guys get the gates then they can package this fight to those Arabs by limiting supply and making this a very exclusive fight. They will sell most seats to those Arabs and Arabs move with plane loads of business associates.

I dont believe Arums comments about Asians coming to watch Pacquiao. If that was the case Arum wouldnt even be entertaining the thoughts of fighting in Texas.Besides,Pacquiao's tickets are never expensive which shows the profile of Pacquiao's fans.On the other hand no one can dispute Mayweather's fanbase, the A'listers who buy expensive tickets. This explains why Mayweather's gate takings are always superior.

judging from his interview, they would want a share of the revenue generated outside of the match, more specifically casinos or such.
