Pacquiao's team doesn't want the fight

Why would Arum start the negotiations by telling the media that he will not be negotiating through the media because that is why the fight fell through last time, but every couple days there is news coming out of the Pacquiao camp.

And in case you haven't noticed, prior to the Pacquiao negotiations, you never heard of Team Mayweather having issues in negotiations with regards to finances. Have you? Can you say the same for...Team Pacquiao, for instance? Ok then. So let's stop trying to play this "into the psyche of Floyd Mayweather" stuff. Goodness.

Al Haymon reviews contracts and Leonard Ellerbe is Floyd's version of Richard Schaefer. Floyd requests certain things and then gives Ellerbe his marching orders to go out and get them. Floyd sets the game plan, with ODLH he (May) couldn't argue about PPV numbers, because ODLH was a mainstream crossover star, Floyd isn't.

Hatton brought an entire country to the table, so what leverage did Mayweather have then? The numbers on a percentage, between he and Pac aren't that far apart, it seems as if he just wants to throw his weight around and many other writers happen to think the same.

Expert's say Floyd shouldn't accept 14 days either because a fighter can still juice in 14 days knowing that he still accepted the fight and 50/50. Aint no man gonna give up his ass to prove nothing to you and the other Tards. ENOUGH OF THE BS!!!!
I'm from NY too sugarpants, attended college there. It's clear to you that he wants to fight Manny because that is your perception, it "clearly" isn't "clear" to the guys over at ESPN and various media outlets, why do you think that is? One big conspiracy?

Ok, let's break this down because you are really confusing the issue. It's not that difficult.

Al Haymon does more than review contracts. Unless you think that's all an adviser does. Haymon is one of the sport's biggest power brokers. BTW, he was also the one who proposed OST. Second, you said that Ellerbe is Floyd's version of Schaefer. You mean the CEO of his promotional company? Uhh...duh!

Third, what do you mean by the bolded? Here's some questions for you to chew on. How many PPV's had Hatton sold in the US prior to facing Floyd? Who got the bigger split? I think you need to think about what "leverage" means again.

And finally...for the last time: Prior to the Pac negotiations, you have never heard of Mayweather having an issue negotiating finances for a fight. Not against Oscar (who made more than him) and not against Hatton (who made less). Coincidentally, Pacquiao backed out of negotiations multiple times against both.

Oh really? You better take another look at ESPN my dude cause Brian Kenny aint buying Pac's BS. If your referring to fat boy DR he's clearly a donuteating hater. I have a question. How can anyone be ranked above an undefeated, 5 division champion who has current wins over the #2 and #3 P4P best? Specially when the so-called #1 has 2 controversial fights with the #2 guy and by the way, going to college in NY and living there is 2 different things my dude. :-)

I lived there while I was in college and I met Raekwon at a chinese take out, that means something...not sure what exactly but I'll get back to you.

I know who Al Haymon is and I'm aware of what he does on a personal level, he reviews contracts for his fighters. I'm not aware of his other ancillary duties, his main function is to act as an advocate on behalf of the fighters that he represents, making sure that their contract demands are met.

Hatton had lucrative television distribution rights in Europe, he brought more money to the table and that is what I mean by looking at things in context, much in the same way that Wladimir Klitschko has distribution rights in Germany and doesn't need to come to the US in order to make the most money. Hatton and Mayweather made financial sense at the time.

Hmm, Pac agrees to drug testing but then Floyd pulls this bull****. I expect nothing less from Floyd.

Uhh...who said it didn't make financial sense? What I said (for the THIRD TIME), is that you have never heard of Mayweather having financial issues when negotiating a fight up until Pacquiao. Not with Hatton; not with Oscar; not with anyone. The same cannot be said for Team Pacquiao.
