at the same time "Pure Boxers" are very rare in Boxing Today, sure it is some guys with SOME BOXING SKILLS but not many "PURE Boxers", also networks and Promoters seem to be going away from the PURE BOXERS and only focusing on promoting the guys with Power because they are more "exciting" to the Casual Boxing FansLast edited by sicko; 06-15-2010, 04:12 PM.

and yes, Pure boxers are very rare today. They tend to become more complete fighters either by need or the demand to be more exciting and draw more fans.

Again a pure boxer can do it all and transform if need be. Virtuoso is not a category in boxing, the guys I mentioned are trained in a pure boxing style and simply add their gifts to it. they are trained in the classic African American pure boxing style of fighting.
And also understand that my selected names are only the pure boxers who rise to the top of the sport, the biggest draws, the biggest names, etc...The whole point is how can you call this style of boxing boring or dull, when fighters trained in this style constantly become the top draw in the sport????
I do hope I have made my point clear for that last time.
