Ivan Calderon is known as a great pure boxer. He was an amateur rival of Brian Viloria, beating him at the Olympic Qualifiers but losing in two Dual Meets. He also defeated Miguel Angel Cotto during his amateur career.

i didn't read the rest of the posts...so i don't know if this was already mentioned. i have a real problem with tyson being dismissed as a "slugger" just cuz he knocked cats out. a prime tyson used great boxing skills to set up those KOs. i have a problem with this thread to begin with...how do you define what a pure boxer is? the boxers who dominate are the ones that use the tools they have better than their opponents. even a crude ma*** like mayorga kod forrest...and what about pryor vs arguello. i'm rambling...

Get a life dude, you're inhaling too much stale air mixed with your own fart you should come out of the cellar once in a while and breath some fresh air.

Out of all the styles that have ever been mentioned in the sport of boxing Roy Jones fits into none of them. The man is a one of a kind.

How come TS didn't mention the Klitscko brothers? I mean, they are pure boxers, and they have been dominating for the last 7 years. I wonder why he didn't mention them?
