yes...nothing about the way he fought gave me the impression he was shot. You don't put on the performances against elite fighters (Pac and Barrera) if you are shot. If Cotto beat Pac and lost a 115-114 decision to Floyd would you say he was shot? Just curious

I just think its cool or trendy now n days to say a guy is shot or past his prime. Now don't get me wrong, he wasn't at his absolute best (weight wise) because I feel 122 and 126 he was a beast, but that doesn't mean he wasn't an elite fighter at 130 (top 3 fighter IMO at that time).
Cotto didn't beat Pac so your point is moot. Man, I don't even know what point you're trying to make here. 130 was no longer his best weight or he would've stayed there. Do you think he decided, oh I wanna move up to 135 because I really wanna fight Zahir Raheem! Come on, man. He moved up because he could no longer make weight. And then had to KILL himself to move back down. He even tried to compromise to 132 but not only would Arum and Pac not allow it, they threw in that weight clause penalty. Goddamn!

lolz this thread should read why "pasawayako et al cant ...."

I just like to make it straight that Erik beat Pacquiao the first time, he was the superior fighter, the fight even opened Freddy Roach eyes and Manny as well that they have to improve and can not rely on the left hand alone ...

Don't you think there is a reason no Mexican has ever won titles in 4 different divisions? Just like Marquez was real competative at 135 but looks terrible at 140 is the same reason Morales was great at 130 and looked terrible at 135. Morales peak was 130 (competitive wise) just like Marquez peak is 135 (competitve wise).
Morales wasn't peak at 130 anymore. Get that through your head. The big fights were all at 130 and below so there would be no reason for him to go to 135 unless...wait for it...he could NO LONGER MAKE WEIGHT. Damn man, are you that blinded? Think for a second, OSIRIS.

Of course it wasn't. You take any fighter past their peak weight against a top fighter in another division and see how they look. I feel Mayweathers peak is 160 but put him in their with Ward at 168 and watch him lose every round. May has and higher range (weight wise) as far as competing. Morales doesn't and never has. Any Morales at any age/stage will lose to a top fighter at 135.....I have always stated this (even back in 2000 when he was calling out Floyd).

Why does Pac have a history of putting in his own penalties when that's the commission's job?

Again, why would Mayweather EVER move to 168 from 160? Unless he could NO LONGER MAKE WEIGHT. This is really amazing, man.

He went to 135 for the same reason Barrera and him are still fighting. They want that historical 4th title in 4 divisions. All of them dudes are chasing that for bragging rights.....Arce, Morales, Barrera, and Marquez. All of them want to be the first to do so.

So 135 was his peak that is why he lost to Raheem? I disagree with that.
