I might go the local sports bar and watch the fight, by the way how much is the pay-per-view?

They still do that in Boston? Its illegal now for sports bars to show a PPV event ... its considered distribution. I would call around first to make sure a place is definately showing it before you get assed out and end up watching Tuesday Night Fights on OnDemand.

ditto for me! Love Gatti, strong dislike for Pretty boy!
I so hope Gatti manages to pull this off (even though I was told it would mean the death of boxing )

This is the best weekend of fighting I can ever remember. Floyd/Gatti on saturday and on sunday PRIDE Critcal Countdown has the best and deepest MMA tournement ever put together.

I want to see Rua vs Rogerio as bad as I want to see Floyd/Gatti.

I aint doing **** excpet sitting in front of the TV this weekend.

The sports bar will charge a 'cover-charge' of about $10-15, so it isn't illegal because they buy the ppv event for, I've heard up to $5000.

they can do it if they have a cover charge. if they get the fight they have to pay for the amount of seats they have. i mean even still they make money cause there is plenty more standing room and they can charge a lower price.

Oh ... I guess I just live in a cheap *** town because our bar owners scoff at the idea of shelling out distribution costs for PPV events.

couldnt the bar itself just order the ppv? then charge large amounts for a door cover or whatever..

Me and about 3 other friends of mine are going to order it, which makes it about $10 apiece. For that price I'm definitely ordering it.
