Is it me or is Floyd getting older... and stronger?

If you look at the last 40 seconds of round 2, he hit Mosley with some power shots that turned the fight and you could see concern from Mosley. Yeah Floyd was way stronger than what Mosley anticipated. And while Mosley may have lost a bit, he hasn't lost any power and he really nailed Floyd in that round. So for Floyd to come back that strong after having been nailed by very probably by the hardest hitting welterweight in the division presently and the way he chose to take the fight to Mosley after being hit like that, he's showing that he's stronger.

I agree with the others, maybe a touch slower hand speed, but the reflexes are still right there.

He's a little slower and stronger because he's coming in a little heavier, I believe.

Why do you repeat yourself in every single thread?

This is the 6th or 7th time I've seen this from you.

I've seen you say Floyd looks "around 160lb"s in about every single post you've been in since Saturday night.

In the same bolded colored font.

                  What is the deal?

A hair slower... but a lot stronger.

He has definitely grown into a full welterweight.
as you grow older you get stronger. natural progression of man. Im stronger now at 28 than at 21. & im not a professional athlete like boxers who work out their whole lives. Its only natural that these boxers who started at such a young age like floyd & a pacquiao get stronger as they get older & go to higher weights.

Floyd has always been that strong since he got to WW. The problem is, everyone underestimates him before every fight.

He fights Judah, he is supposed to be smaller and weaker. Baldomir was supposed to pressure him to death and out-muscle him. Oscar was supposed to use his size and strength to beat Floyd. Hatton was supposed to bully him around. Mosley was supposed to be physically superior to Floyd.

I don't think he is getting stronger, he has always been strong since he hit WW. Oscar even said that Floyd is stronger than he thought, after their fight and that was at 154 when Floyd was 30. Now he is 33, how is he supposed to be less strong at 147, when he was stronger than Oscar at 154?

Also, just to add(not on topic). Floyd isn't any bigger at WW than he was years ago fighting Judah. So, I don't see how anyone can say Floyd is a big WW.

Clottey is a big WW, Cotto is a big WW, Mosley is a big WW. Floyd weighs in 147, comes to fight 149 tops. Clottey balloons up 170. Cotto gets close to 160. Mosley is somewhere in 150s. That is the difference between a big WW and a small WW.

Not because Floyd can push someone around.
