In all of his fights at welterweight he's been careful with his punches...beating up Judah...Hatton...he really tried hard to stop Mosley IMO...

I'm not jumping the gun though Floyd could come out in his next fight and box his opponent's ears off and stay outta harm's way...

If he fought Pacquiao and walked him down and won it would be even more impressive IMO...

I beentelling people for the longest that Floyd is extremely strong and his strength is underrated.

Dude is a gym rat and ALWAYS wins on the clinches.

I think it's exactly what's going to happen.

          I agree completely.

His back and shoulders have gotten more solid. His speed and reflexes maybe a hair slower. I watched the DLH fight again recently just for the hell of it, and you can see the difference in the lightning speed he showed against Oscar to the (still very quick) speed he showed against Mosley.

The thing is that he's got such good boxing IQ to fall back on to make up for whatever speed he loses down the road. He should fight Pacquaio as soon as possible because if he beats Pac convincingly, there might not be anyone for a long time to really challenge him. Even as he declines.

I remember the months leading up to the Marquez fight when the fight was still a rumour, there were pictures of Floyd in the gym and he looked absolutely massive like he had been training weights constantly in his time off, when the marquez fight happened he didnt look as big but yeah you could definately tell he had packed on some muscle

A hair slower... but a lot stronger.

He has definitely grown into a full welterweight.
Older. Yes. Stronger. Yes. Slower. Yes but slightly. Full WW. Yes. He did not look out of place when he got near to Mosley.

Probably will if Pacquiao finds no solution to May's defense and countering and waste his stamina continuesly trying to get something to happen, he's a warrior after all. Though I think with Pac's speed, footspeed that won't be the case..
