Still curious to see the exact amount, but 1.2 is good. It shows that two American fighters can still sell a PPV, and it also shows that Floyd is a very big name. There's absolutely no excuses now. People were saying Marquez sold the last fight, but there's no way anyone can say Mosley sold this fight. I'm very impressed.
But this also shows that Mayweather-Pacquiao most likely isn't going to do this huge number that people think it is. I predict somewhere around 1.8-2.0. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it didn't break Oscar and Floyd's record. Boxing just isn't what it used to be in the eyes of the public. In fact, after Mayweather-Pacquiao happens (well if it does), boxing will take a huge hit because I'm sure both would retire afterwards. I remember a day when smaller names like Cory Spinks were even mentioned by casual fans.
