Toney Camp offers to fight Vitali at 60 / 40

I think Toney will be an under dog for good reason (height, age, etc), but I wouldn't write him off.

It's going to be akward for Vitali to punch down on Toney. Toney is an elusive target (Klitschko is comming off injuries and injured himself swinging at and missing Byrd) and Toney is an excellent body puncher, and a 12 round fighter. Toney's best rounds are typically 9-12.

This should be an interesting fight.

Toney has been saying since '91 that he's gonna be heavyweight champ...can't go wrong with that. He told me that **** when he was sitting right next to me getting his wig split in the barbers chair. I believe him and will put a lot of loot up on a bet for him to win should this fight come off. He's my favorite fighter not named Pernell Whitaker.

Toney is willing to take 60-40, and a fight with Toney would be several million dollars more for Vitlai than fighting Maskiev.

Yes, they were discussed before, and now this is a new thread regarding an announcment from hours ago saying Toney is ready to accept a 60 - 40 split.

Again, if you'd read, and stop acting like a bitter little teen, you'd see that if Toney's now ready to take a split, and Vitali stands to make Millions more fighting Toney than he would Maskiev, there's no reason for him not to take the fight. The Maskiev fight isn't signed, so there's no reason this fight can't be made with the money both fighters stand to make.

No one said he's ducking Toney, they say he would be ducking him to turn down the fight now that it makes much more financial sense for him, and is a quality opponent for him.
