i dont even buy anything into these comparisons. u ppl need to understand something. sports evolve. the athletes evolve, the rules evolve and the fans evolve. comparing robinson to floyd is very difficult. is robinson the greatest?? yes. does floyd arguably have more skill??? yes. and ive seen robinson fights, he's impressive. but floyd's skills are modernly evolved. he does stuff fighters didnt do at the time robinson fought. its just true.Ascended likes this.

Robinson because he's bigger and wayy more aggressive. If they were the same size I think Floyd beats him.

and to the person who said the athletes of yesterday couldn't compete with the guys today.....are you out ur ****in mind?
Robinson, Leonard, Hearnes and most of those guys were huge for WW....matter of a fact I have never seen bigger WW's than them in all of my years watching boxing. Not only that but they were extremely athletic as well as skill.

honestly I can't see any way possible that Floyd would beat SRL.
Can someone give me their enlightened break down of how they imagine this happening?
SRL had big chin, huge heart, possibly greatest ATG stamina ever, was FASTER than Floyd, had ten times bigger work rate than Floyd, threw ten times more combinations than Floyd.
Can someone give me even an iota of an idea of how Pac or Floyd would ever stand a chance against SRL?
I think he can beat both Pac and Floyd on the same night and still have gas in the tank.

I think Mayweather would have his hands full with Kid Gavilan. These were big welterweights we're talking about, each almost 6 feet tall.
