Of course, he ducked him. After seeing the Margarito fight; Pacman wanted none. No way he fights Floyd after what he did too Mosley. Margarito-Pacman is next
Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach thinks Miguel Cotto needs "time" to recover from his Margarito defeat.

Manny Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach claims WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto is not the same since suffering an 11th round technical knockout by Antonio Margarito in July, 2008.
Pacquiao will face Puerto Rican Cotto for the title on Saturday in Las Vegas and should he succeed he will become the first boxer ever to win world titles in seven divisions.
The only blemish on Cotto’s record came under scrutiny recently after Margarito was found to have plaster in his gloves in his next fight against Shane Mosley, but Roach insists whether he was cheating or not the effect on Cotto is the same. “It doesn’t matter if Margarito did it in that fight or not, a fighter is still not the same following a knockout like that.”
As to how to return from such devastating punishment Roach answered, “Time”.
Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, says that Mosley visited the Pacquiao camp and talked about a fight.
"I asked Shane if he could get down to 142, and he said no," Roach said. "I don't think Pacquiao-Mosley is likely."

Pacquiao-Mosley at 144 lb not advisable, says Wakee.
MANILA, Philippines - Manny Pacquiao should avoid falling into the trap being laid out for him by Shane Mosley.
One of Pacquiao’s advisers – Rex “Wakee” Salud – issued the warning after Mosley said he’s ready to stake his WBA welterweight crown if he gets to face the Filipino champion at a catch weight of 144 lb on Oct. 17.
Salud said it’s all too good to be true.
“Manny may be too small for Mosley if he agrees to fight at 144 pounds."
“It’s Mosley who needs Manny so he should agree to what Freddie Roach (Pacquiao’s trainer) wants and that’s 142. Or at least, maybe they can make 143. But not 144,” added Salud.
“That’s Manny’s comfort zone, to weigh in at 138, 140 or 142 lb. If he agrees to 144, that will give Mosley all the comfort he needs,” Salud said.
Mosley said he can try and make 144 and then he plans to climb the ring against Pacquiao at 154 lb or anywhere he’s comfortable at without sacrificing his speed.
Mosley asked Roach why they can’t fight him at 147 lb just like Dela Hoya and the three-time Trainer of the Year simply said Mosley is not Dela Hoya.

"Shane Mosley Willing to Fight Pacquiao at 140."
AFTER JULY 2009:
"Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."
Unbelievable that 37 feel that when a fighter is told the reason his rejected for a fight is because his too good, that it doesn't mean his being ducked. HE WAS TOLD FLAT OUT THAT HE WAS TOO GOOD. How clearer can a duck be. Freaking Pac fans are such idiots, all for just following one fighter.
Mosley ready to go at 144 lb vs Pacquiao
By Abac Cordero (The Philippine Star) Updated June 02, 2009 12:00 AM
MANILA, Philippines – Shane Mosley is willing to stake his WBA welterweight crown if he gets to face Manny Pacquiao even at a catch weight of 144 lb.
“I’ll meet him halfway so we can make the fight,” said Mosley in an exclusive interview aired by NBN-4 sports program Teledyaryo yesterday.
Mosley, the champion at 147 lb, said he’s willing to go down in weight, face Pacquiao on Oct. 17, and stake his crown just to see “who’s the best.”
Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, said they’re willing to face Mosley if the latter would agree to go down to 142 lb. Then Mosley said “halfway” could mean 144 lb.
“I can possibly make the weight and feel comfortable. I want to explore that,” said Mosley.
