One of the best trainers in the world but can't come up
with a game plan to beat Floyd after how many months of
    studying him?

PS Roach already trained Oscar to fight Floyd
and that was in 07. Roach, when are you going
    to get the blueprint?

      Shattered Jaw,

that's OK, Floyd sees plenty of weakness he can exploit in Pacquiao, too.

Well, which one is it Freddie?
      It's a bit of both.

Floyd knows where he's slowing down! He made remarks about it himself recently. Dude is not dumb like Roy, the way he fights is adapting to it.

Mayweather got caught with the big one in round 2 'cause he uncharacteristically got wild and left himself open to Mosley. Then he fixed it.

Pac has way more flaws than Mayweather.

The best athlete and boxer by far is Mayweather.

Pac might be the more entertaining/bigger FIGHTER

But boxing is about hitting and not getting hit (yes I love brawls I love it when fighters put on a show and exchange , but we know Floyd can put on BOXING SHOW. A REAL BOXING SHOW.

And This is coming from a guy that made a thread about how Pac would destroy Floyd , but after seeing how he walked Mosley down , and made him miss , and handle him. I changed my mind.

Pac got caught by Clottey at will. He got hit by Cotto when he was smart.

Floyds ring I.Q and quickness is better than Cottos and Clottey's combined.

I think Floyd will potshot and show Pac what the meaning of boxing really is.

And I would definitely appreciate it.

Floyd has gained my respect once again.

I agree. He has to stretch a lot further than Shane to land those shots. It's going to be like target practice for Money.

lol roach started his tarsh talking already hehe
The so called assessments from Roach were clear for most to see. The only situation where I was legitimately surprised was De La hoya and looking back on things it should have been obvious that he would be a shell at 147lbs.

Clottey, Hatton and Cotto there was enough evidence to support those assessments. Mayweather not having his legs there is no legit evidence to support this. We saw him dance around Marquez, we saw him walk down Mosley.

              He's right with floyd though.

Compare floyd now with floyd of yesterday. He's a different fighter.
He is reminding me more and more of James Toney in the ring. and we ALL know james even in his prime appeared "lazy' in the ring.

You guys are calling it "relaxed", but it's flat footed. Floyd is literally standing on the flats of his feet, he use to only stand on his toes.

              Not to mention

              He walked Judah down
Rope a Doped with oscar and hatton for the most part
Stood center ring with Mosley and JMM.

You see? his last fights he was either sitting still or moving foward. You guys don't want to admit it, but the man is flat footed now. This is NOT a problem. Don't take it as an insult. Roach is just stating a fact. FLoyd rests on the flats of his feet in the ring now, much like james toney.

IS THIS GUY FOR REAL??????? I mean seriously, this is starting to get ridiculous!!!! Mayweather has lost his legs?? If Pacquiao catches him he'll stop em?? Catch a grip!!!!! This is the first time I've had a chance to see what people are saying about the fight and I am absolutely disgusted. Not because of the usual di*kheads that suck Pac-mans big toe,, but because one of the first things I read comes from probably the best trainer of all in Freddie Roach and it smells like the sewers on a sunday morning!! Can anybody on this site really say that they didn't like the Floyd Mayweather that showed up on saturday?? Actually, forget answering that because the usual di*kheads are bound to respond again. But come ooon people,, take the blinkers off!!! Some people are actually showing still pictures of Mosley catching Mayweather too,, PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not a Mayweather ball-licker, far from it, but I know the best when I see it. And so should a lot more people here.

Correct! when Roach talk, they must consider this seriously because he was right to all of his recent predictions! Just funny though that many here said roach is a joke while Floyd Sr isn't..! Floyd Sr, is a clown on his predictions against Pac beginning from ODLH, Hatton and Cotto.. now to Floyd Sr?? simply he isn't credible that even a simple minded persons knows him as clown! And Floyd could stand toe to toe against Pac??? I dont think so, this is PAc best and ás long as Pac figured out that he can take punches against his opponent he will walk through land mines to finish him off! But of course, Pac is improved well on his defense and of his other arsenals, and the way I looked at Floyd Jr against Shane, I couldn't just believe he have chance to win agaisnt Pac.. Floyd best chance to win is to fight Pac in his usual counter punching style but this too I think couldn't be win this time because Roach has long prepared plans for Pac to defeat Floyd in this area.

what makes him the best trainer?? Would roach get the propps he's getting now if it wasn't for pacquiao? Pacquiao made roach not the other way around.Roger mayweather is a better trainer..floyd hasn't lost yet ..and we know how much punishment pacquiao has recieved in the last few years.Floyd received two good punches in a fight and roach is jumping to the conclusion that his legs are gone? Yea right..it's boxing sometime u will get punched in the head lol..even the p4p.

Floyd still dominated 2 respect vets in the sport without
taking much damage. I think from watching Floyd fight
for his career that the man just changes up his style
whenever he feels. Look at the Marquez fight. Are you
going to tell me that after watching Floyd beat and walk
Mosley down that Marquez wasn't given a pass? Until
I see Floyd decline in the ring, I will not cosign him changing
for the worse because that performance this past weekend
was a great one EVEN after getting rocked he still kept coming
forward. I would expect Mosley to get off like that at some
point in the fight, don't know why people see it as a weakness
                      on Floyd's part.
