Yes he did. Its not that Mosley was tired, didn't have the skill or power. It was Mayweather's technical skills that schooled him. The little man in Pac will look even worse. Most EVERYONE in here will say Mayweather was just simply too big, too smart, too fast and too great. Mosley is a great and was taken to college by a great professor. Pacs not even an undergrad when speaking of Mayweather's technical greatness.

Pac better man up before Mayweather moves up and everyone in boxing will follow.

As I have thought the way this fight in my mind, it came up the way it was. I knew that Mosley would have a chance to have a KO or even a TKO in the very early rounds but Mayweather would quickly "mayweather the storm" and adjust.

Mosley is too uptight and no jabs –*he wanted to fight May too eagerly and toe to toe. No chance in hell he would beat Mayweather that way.

I can see almost the same thing with Pacquiao vs. Mayweather though Pacquiao would have a better chance.

As a Pacquiao fan, I think that he can relentlessly attack Mayweather on the early rounds and attempt a KO or TKO BEFORE Mayweather can figure him out. And so if it goes the distance, Mayweather for another unanimous decision.

That fight last night to me, was almost like a mirror image of Lennox Lewis-Mike Tyson with Mosley not getting beat up near as bad because of them not being Heavyweights. Everybody remember of how Mike came out in the first round and bum rushed Lewis and even hurt him and then Lennox took control of the fight? Mayweather did the same exact thing with Mosley.

As i've posted before this fight, No kO by Mayweather, not acceptable. People, with all that trashtalk that Mayweather dished out, all that he can muster at the fight was a UD? Whatever happened to be the greatest of all time, greater than Ali, etc??? If this all he can do against a future hall of famer, then it's best that he pull back a little on the trash talk and he might improve on his image.

Pacquaio should run why he cant. He was avoiding the **** out of Mosley and Mayweather dominated Mosley to the point where im convinced if this fight would've happened 5years it would've have been the same result.

Best Mayweather quote in comparison to how the fight would be comes from 24-7.

"Vernon Forrest f-cked you up, Winky Wright f-cked you up, Miguel Cotto f-cked you up, and Im gonna f-ck you up some more. Congratulations on a brilliant performance. Now these *******s can stop complaining about your level of opposition. You dominated a guy, that Pacquiao wouldn't dare step in the ring with, Kudo's to you.

But i know exactly what's gonna happen next, pacquiao's not gonna take the fight, he'll fight shane mosley, probably knock him out, then pacquaio fans will point to his ko as a reason to put him on a pedestal over Mayweather. P4p was solidified saturday night.

Floyd really was masterful last night! What a good fight for him!

It's unfortunate for Mosley but all in all a good fight and FLoyd deserves credit!

              Onto the next.....

As im reading the post here on the site, to all pacquiao fans that thought shane was going to win, i give you guys a lot of respect for 1. admitting your wrong, and most importantly 2. not taking anything away from Mayweather. He did what his fans asked of him, and even more surprisingly was he did it toe to toe, for 12 rounds, and dominated him like Marquez, if it wasn't for that little hiccup where he got caught twice in the 2nd round, it would've been a shut out. I do agree with Emanuel Steward on what the outcome of a mayweather/pacquiao would be, and personally mayweather is just to big, strong, and has out standing ring generalmanship and savvy, where i just dont see pacquaio making the necessary adjustments to beat mayweather, not that he can't but he's never really had to adjust. WOW,still in shock at how floyd fought shane toe to toe. THis fight reminds me a lot of Pacquiao vs Cotto, where we thought the little guy was finally gonna meet his match with the bigger guy, and once again, the little guy was just that good, actually, Mayweather dominated mosley more than pac dominated Cotto, but it was just as good.

I give Floyd credit, you want to give him a crown. I say good win...hold off on the crown for like one or two more fights, maybe against PWill or Martinez and then we can all ban together, you, checkhook, twizzler, sugarpants, grustler and myself and make Floyd 100 crowns out of tinfoil and mail them to Leonard Ellerbe.
This was a brilliant win. Really was. And an incredible performance. I picked Shane to win a tight one but Floyd...just wow.

I don't understand why people are saying "wow, I never expected Shane to be gassed so early, his age is showing!" Do you people follow boxing? When did you start? Shane has had a history of tiring early but closing strong. Even Floyd mentioned how Shane has stamina problems. And anyone who remembers his first fight with Oscar knows Shane looking out of sync and tired from rounds 2-6. Usually Mosley picks it up from round seven going but he was up against a totally different machine on this night. I think this performance leaves no doubt as to the caliber of fighter Floyd is.

                    Mosley is a BIG puncher.
Seriously. Those two right hands were killer.
