Comments Thread For: Floyd Mayweather Masterful In Domination of Shane Mosley

By Jake Donovan - After years of enduring criticism for not challenging himself against the best of his weight class, Floyd Mayweather Jr. emphatically silenced his critics with a virtuoso performance against Shane Mosley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday evening.

Final scores were 119-109 (twice) and 118-108, all for Mayweather, now 41-0 (25KO).

The first hint of drama came before the fight began, when Mayweather was deliberate in his ring walk, refusing to leave his dressing room until his theme music was properly in place.

It would be one of only two occasions on the night where things didn’t completely go his way.

A sign of things to come came midway through the first round, when Mosley touched his glove to the canvas after missing with a right hand and slipping off balance. It was the lone stand out moment in a relatively tame opening three minutes. [Click Here To Read More]

wow, i thought shane had him out in the second round, almost.

a brilliant recovery and performance by floyd.

shane is done, he was gasping with his mouth open in the 7th round and was gassed.

god bless him, he had a wonderful career.

manny wont take that test because floyd will knock him out in 6.

      floyd is just too accurate.

Say goodbye to your pound for pound #1 Pacquiao, Mayweather beat the sh**outta Mosley. I knew he would win decisively, but I never thought he would stand toe to toe and be the aggressor in the fight. With a performance like that, dang I dunno how in the world Pacquiao could win. Counters were fast as hell and very very accurate. Anyways, maybe I'm just too much in the hype. Well I dunno. I'll make my prediction of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao if and when the fight is signed. Make the fight happen!!!

LOL, you know this thread is either gonna be 30 pages long with bickering or dead due to the fact that so many people were hoping shane would knock Mayweather out

Shane was getting on my nerves in the fight though with all that flinching and trying to look fast instead of just being fast like he naturally is. Even my wife was laughing like "who does he think he's fooling?"

shane was really out of character the whole fight...he didnt sling to the body enough or simply throw straight punch combos..

he was so wound up .. hes usually shaking his hands in fights but in a relaxed way.

Mayweather made a fan out of me tonight. He's beaten all the fighters that I have rooted hard for throughout the years like Gatti, JMM, and now Mosley tonight. He makes it look easy, and even though a Mayweather win is always predictable in the lead up to the fights, I can't hate. I have to congratulate.
