plus, his trainer really sucks. he is so... amateur, don't know why pavlik stayed with a guy who only says "use the jab, and the....jab! One two, one two! Jap! did i mention the jab yet? because you should use the jab!"

The cutman was horrible though. Using a rough towel to stop the blood flow? Genius. Poor Pavlik came out at the beginning of each round with the blood pouring out of his eye already before Martinez even through a punch.

i agree, but blaming the cutman is a wrong....martinez's fists cost them the fight.

the cut man did cost kelly. now i will not say he cost kelly the fight as i've said on boxing scene i expect martinez to out box kelly and move out of harms way. but if you have blood running into your eyes you cant see some of those lefts until they bounce off your head. this cut man shouldnt be allowed to work a back alley fight. IMO

They were horrible cuts, no cut-man could stop that ****. Stop letting the fighter in front of you beat you to a bloody mess and stop blaming the cut-man. Go ahead fire him, when its really your own fault for allowing the punches to cut you!

This is the straight truth. The cut man treats a cut, not a lacerated face cut to pieces like a side of beef.

The cutman didn't cost Pavlik.True enough the cutman wasn't experienced.If you manage the middleweight champ don't you get the best corner you can for him?That falls on Kelly's manager,Jack and Kelly's dad.And don't forget Martinez.If Pavlik wasn't so one dimensional Martinez wouldn't have been able to hit him and cut him.Anyone want to bet Kelly will get another staph infection and avoid Williams for another couple of years?

did you hear jack say you dont fight paul wil at 80%? so in fact they did duck p-will. now i dont blame them and in fact i agree with them. but they should have said that in the first place insted of trying to make us really think they did not avoid paul. any one should be able to understand not facing your greatest challenge at 80%. but we dont understand lying to our faces about your true intent.

Was pavlik thinking about quitting, I think in between the 10th and 11th ends when Jack loew told him " you can't you ****ing can't" sounds like he says " Im gonna quit"
