If AA had this hard of a time with Dirrell, he would have sure as **** been destroyed by Froch's dirty tactics.

But just as I said, Dirrell on points if it wasn't for the DQ. AA couldn't handle the advantages Dirrell had.

True, what I meant was that people could make a case that he could of said something about AD ducking below the waistline a little, I mean I don't look at it as much of a big deal cause loads of fighters do it, including Floyd (who is my favorite fighter), but its still there I guess and maybe that was why AA did it.

He was way out of line hitting him when he was down though, and AD got the win rightfully.

Agreed. Same thing happened to Roy Jones Jr. He lost his "0" the exact same way yet he wasn't down on points.

most of the comment in this thread seem to be based from watching the sup super slow-mo replay, when u watch the incident in real time it's clear that the only person at fault is the ref for being so freakin far away from the action.

AA pauses for like 0.2 secs between shots, AD pauses like 0.2 seconds before falling sidewards.

in reflection the DQ is correct, but only because AD was KO'd from a foul punch. It was neither dirty nor deliberately done though and AD clearly wasn't acting.

Dirrell was busting up Abraham thru 11 rounds. That's a fact. Whether Abraham would've been able to get the knockout in the last rounds is debatable. What is fact, is Abraham showed his thugish side with that asinine "Heez a guud aktur" comment. The good actor claim is also debatable. So the night was looking really good for Andre Dirrell. AA needed a KO, or chance it with a flagrant foul. He gamble and lost! That's a fact.

ok but that was also a knock down by dre that was ruled a slip. he was saved by the ropes. also replay show dre was tripped by aa's foot. the bottom line aa hit a man clearly down on his knees. a very dirty move. he couldnt beat him by boxing so he got the punch he was looking for by punching a man that was down. then after looking at the replay he turned hoe and called dre a good actor not a good boxer. well that good actor gave aa a boxing lesson. and a good old fashion midwest BEATDOWN!

I totally agree with the D.Q.But AA was on his way to stoping Dirrell.Dirrell did box great but those last rd's I felt the Taylor Froch all over again.I do feel Dirrell jump's on the floor to get out of trouble it's a tactic ref's should take point's for in the future.IMHO it's no better then spiting your mouth piece out time and time again.

I'm sorry just finish watching it over again.AA did not mean to hit him.He was in in combo punchin mode.Hard to stop it did not look like Dirrell was hit hard but does not matter.I feel the broadcast team was making it worst then it was.I still the D.Q.Was the right call Dirrell could not continue and AA hit him while he was down.

No favoritism at all. Fight was called fair and square and actually Arthur should have had a 2nd knockdown counted against him but the ropes and bell saved him! Dirrell would have gotten on his bicycle for the 12th round and still won. Athur was exposed. Great fight Dirrell!

They didn't call it when Arthur kd Dirrell either
