But I just think Ruiz will land the cleaner harder punches througout the fight and too savy to leave himself open to taking one of Valuev's big punches in the early rounds.

I agree it’s what John will try to do but how will he avoid Nik’s punches while he can’t move as fast and successful as Cliff was?

I expect Valuev to tire by the 6th round at the latest and Ruiz to pretty much dominate after 6 round and land alot of clean scoring shots.

I'm not sure I completely understand, are you saying that Etienne looked good enough to beat either of the Klitschko brothers against Valuev? Or are you talking about Valuev?

I think Ruiz's last fight against Toney really crushed his spirit.

If he chooses to defend the title against Nic, it will be his last defense.

i hate to say this kind of thing since i have alot of respect for ruiz, but...hopefully valuev ko's ruiz and puts him out for like 30 seconds,it could be enough to scare ruiz into retirement and then we wont have to watch the hugging anymore,and who knows maybe within the next 5 years after ruiz is gone we may have a proper hw div w/ peters having his eye on the prize.
