Why is it useless? To me it gives the boxers and us fans a clean fight, right? To hell with personal reasons the purity of the sport is bigger than that aint it?

Random means you dont know when its happening, and that's what their camp was adamant on knowing. Thats the prob i have with team pac.

After watching "Road To Dallas" the big thing that stuck out to me is when Pac, Roach an the drug dealer dude were saying if Manny doesn't eat a lot he will shrink back down to 135. What I took away from that is Manny is a light-wt knocking out welter-wts. Something is not right about that. People use to say that Manny was really a welter-wt all along but according to him and his team he is really still a light-wt with the supernatural ability to not only KO welter-wts but walk through their punches like their nothing.

Only then to get pressured by Bob Arum and the WBO to put his title on the line. Honestly, if he didn't I think the WBO would of tried to find some way to strip Cotto of the belt.
You are absolutely right my friend. The WBO was gonig to strip Cotto, and threatened to do so.

To answer your question, if the fight with de la hoya took place at 154 when it happened, or 147 lbs 12 years ago, then yeah i would say that i thought de la hoya was gonna win. To be real with you, the minute Roach coached De la hoya to a loss against mayweather at his natural weight, im no fool, ive been watching boxing since i was 5 and im 32 now. The only advantage oscar wouldve had against pacquiao was his size, but that was talking away from him. Oscar looked like a crackhead fight night, for christ sakes he weighed 146 THE DAY OF THE FIGHT. So let me get this straight, you give manny credit for fighting a guy who was trained by his trainer in his most recent loss, at a weight he didnt fight at in over 10 years. On the other hand, did you give credit Mayweather for fighting De LA Hoya, at a weight Mayweather never fought at and de la hoya was accustomed to fighting at. IF your answer is no, then why should i give Pacquiao the same credit. So of course Timothy Bradley at his regular walking around weight wouldve been more competition then de la hoya at 147. 12 years ago different story, but then again Manny was getting knocked out by featherweights then.

I was surprised to see the way he man handled cotto and i didnt think he would pull that off. But what, he beat a guy that was 1-1-1 in his prior 3 fights, (sorry i had his fight with clottey a draw.) You can say Mayweather doesnt fight legitimate welterweights, but he fights welterweights. Not this catchweight **** that Pacquaio pulls off, how the hell you get a 145lb fight for the welterweight title is beyond me. His fight with Clottey is his 1st fight against a real welterweight at that limit.
i never discredit floyd winning against oscar, i never said that. but i discredit his win against JMM. fighting a lightweight and weighing 2lbs heavier than the cotracted wt.

the only way you can discedit pac for his wins, is to prove that he is in steroids.. thats is the obvious reason why roger mayweather said that pac will not beat those guys (Oscar, Hatton , Cotto even diaz) if he is not on that ****.

Okay, from your point. (thinking mayweather is serious about his allegations and not just planting doubts):

Lets say, Pac should have said yes, BUT it will cost him his power. yes, floyd will have the same tests, but we all know negating power from both fighters, floyd will get the upperhand coz he will outbox manny, if manny tries to KO floyd it will be futile. yes it would be fair. theres nothing unfair with it.

from my point (thinking its all mindgames and propaganda)

Floyd is only making an excuse if in case he lose to pac, if they ever fight.
An excuse that pac might be on something, planting doubts so fans will discredit pac for winning. Pure Jealousy.

from both points, only one is clear. Floyd is trying to get the upperhand.

Honestly, you'd be hard pressed to find real boxing fans nowadays. Which is a real shame actually. You'd think coming to a boxing site you would, but no.

thats because he loses weight during the training like every human being that does train.thats why alex makes him eat alot.i dont remember anyone mentionin that he would drain down at 135 if he does not eat
