50/50: That's what Pacquiao is worth. Why the hell would he accept a lower split? In fact Manny is worth MORE if anything because his last PPV did better than Floyd's. I won't judge it on how well Floyd did with Oscar, that's in the past, and we HAVE to consider his current popularity, not some figures he did with a huge star such as Oscar 3 years ago. Floyd didn't sell **** before fighting Oscar, and he has always sold less afterwards.

If this is your stance on this then you have no choice but to agree that if Floyd outsells Clottey-Pac that he deserves more. Pac didnt sell anything before Oscar either.

Gloves: 8 oz gloves is pretty damn normal for a WW fight. Not a crazy demand at all. It's very reasonable.
The standard for Gloves in Nevada is 10oz. Fighters have to "agree" for 8oz. Which is what Floyd did at Pacs request.

Weight Penalty: Since Mayweather has never come in over the limit and does not struggle to make the weight, this is a moot point. He could have asked for 10 billion per pound over, and Floyd would still have accepted because he knows he will not come in over the limit.

But Pac still asked for it. And Floyd accepted it. Why ask for it if its a moot point? It was a "mind thing".

Mayweather and together with his camps made statements that Pacquiao is easy work, then why make the negotiations complicated?
So if it's easy work, he shouldn't care if his opponent is cheating? I've never understood this argument unless your okay with guys cheating if their going to lose regardless.

Listen, you have been suckered into that opinion. It is NOT about a level playing field, it's exactly the opposite.

I hope you don't believe everything a politician tells you as well.

floyd tried to bully pac in the negotiations, that's cool cause pac tried to bully floyd too, the difference is that what floyd did was slandering pac's good name

floyd could start his campaign agaist PEDs by forcing boxers on his undercard to take Olympic style testing

floyd is scared of pac, that is, he is scared of losing his 0

Again, you miss the point, or just ignore it.

Oscar: 8 rounds. Manny made him quit. Just too fast. No Mas due to accumulation.
Hatton: The ONLY guy he has iced recently, mainly due to Hatton's **** technique and lack of defense.
Cotto: Went almost the full 12 before being stopped.

Manny hasn't been KOing his opponents with ease. Apart from Hatton, he had to work hard for those victories.
I considered Pacquiao's wins "easy" just because he was jumping weights all the time. He was a featherweight when he beat Diaz and a lightweight when he won against De La Hoya in the welterweight division.

He wanted it to play out where his camp could say "Manny Pacquiao will be taking a mandatory drug test as dictated by myself" and Manny Pacquiao would then be like" yes, I agree to the terms sert by camp Mayweather". In that scenario, it would be obvious that Mayweather is setting the terms of this fight, and therefore was the real champion in control. I dont think anyone can argue that mayweather doesnt use psychological pressure when dealing with perspective opponents, given his history. Now we have Mayweather essentially stuck with defending this so called 'cause' of his. You don't see mayweather demanding that Golden Boy, whom essentially promotes him have these kinds of tests for all their future events. You dont see him mentioning the undercard fighters undergoing the same testing. You dont see him calling out guys like Dan Goosen and Bob Arum over their not enforcing these kinds of tests in their fights, all of which you would expect if Maywetaher actually was championing this cause. On the flip side Pacquiao is not scrambling to justify his turning down the ifght, as he cant really say "Because i dont want to give Mayweather what he wants." That essentially makes him look petty and isnt helpful to hus image, as he is trying to break out in America as a sports star. So now we have both fighters stuck playing their assigned roles. Is the whole ordeal petty and ******? yeah. Is it realistic for two top fighters with enough accomplishemnts to justify soem pretty big egos. Also yeah. So we'll have to see how it plays out but until then theres no reason to suspect Pacquiao of juicing, or Mayweather of "runnin scared".

I Pacs fight with Cotto he dictated a demand to Cotto the "champ" to weigh 145 Pounds AND still put his belt on the line that Cotto earned while being allowed to weigh the WW limit. So Pac was in control of that fight and he was the challenger.

Anyone with a good grasp on how this thing works can tell you that its impossible for one man to clean up the sport. There is boxing not only in Nevada but in every state. There is boxing not only in the states but all around the world. Its impossible to have mandatory testing for EVERY single boxing match there are way to many fights held a month let alone a year.

It starts with the fighters and what they put in the contracts. Its a contract thing not a commission thing.

People who say Floyd is scared of Pac need their boxingscene privileges revoked. And the same for people who think of Pac that way. These guys beat the **** out of people for a living they not afraid of each other.

However Bob Arum has came out and admited hes at fault for this fight not happening. When Mayweather and GBP turned down ther Texas Arena. Arum wanted out of the fight every chance he got. Arum was more concerned with the 25 Million dollar check that Jerry Jones wrote him rather then whats best for boxing which is Pac vs. Mayweather. Thats why this fight isnt next weekend.

My post got lost in the wash. But I need some feedback on this.

I seriously doubt floyd will do OST in all his remaining fights. some fights aren't lucrative enough to ask for it.

I also believe that it's not about the testing but bragging rights. I just like to talk a little **** to the *******s. But in all seriousness, I hope Pac isn't on anything. That would kill boxing, it would be bad for the sport. I hope they both win and drop the demands. Just a simple 50/50 split. I'm a Floyd fan but I respect Manny. I just talk **** to the *******s because they disrespect May all the time.
