    Paul williams-kermit cintron april 10

    WITH A BERTO-MALIGNAGGI CO-FEATURE?

Boxing t alk.com has been informed that Paul Williams Vs. Kermit Cintron is currently in discussion for April 10 on HBO. Williams-Cintron never took place a couple years back and it's always been a fight that the former welterweight champion has yearned to make. After a reliable source gave us this info, ********** was able to get a hold of Cintron, who confirmed these discussions. "It's a good opportunity for the people to watch a great fight. Now that I saw the Williams-Martinez fight it showed how good Martinez really is. When I fought him it was a draw, Williams had a very hard time. But this is s a great opporunity for me and the fans to put on another exciting fight," said Cintron. Mentioned for the undercard is a potential bout between WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto and Paulie Malignaggi. Remember where you heard it first!

I said in one of my post that Berto looked over weight in that interview someone posted of Berto talking about pulling out the Mosley fight. And i also said maybe Berto pulled out cause he was over weight.

If Berto does indeed fight Mallingnagi that makes that Notion look like reality.

I remember Berto looking overweight at the first press conference of the fight.

Hard to believe Cintron is actually saying that he fought Martinez to a draw. Martinez was robbed twice in that fight. Robbed the guy of the KO and the decision. But this one makes for a decent fight. I don't see Cintron winning it or coming up with a miracle draw this time. It should be competitive though. I'm more excited about the April 17th fight on HBO with Pavlik and Martinez.

Interesting... I mean Williams is the favorite because Cintron melts under pressure but Williams has made to made it to the 6th or 7th round to capitalize... Williams ain't hits as hard as Margarito... and Margarito has a beard... if you seen Margarito-Cintron II... Cintron hit him with some freaking shots... I don't know if Williams can take them... should be a good fight as long as it lasts... Williams will make Cintron work...

WOW, Berto-Malignaggi really anti-climatic if you will... Berto seemed to be ready to step up for bigger things and now back to Malignaggi... Malignaggi is no slouch but he is not elite... not enough power and also is 140 pounder... I loved the idea for Cotto-Berto... but it is probably to risky for Arum... we all don't know what he has left and the last thing you wanna do is emberras Cotto on the eve of the Parade I guess... Berto-Cotto would be a great fight... with much more flair then either Berto-Malignaggi or Cotto-Foreman

Hehe, just logged and I do care about this fight. PWill should win in my opinion by KO too. Cintron seemed to wear down in the Angulo fight, so I don't think he'll be able to box PWill for 12 rounds and his power isn't the same that it was. PWill's pressure will wear Cintron down to a late stoppage in the 8th or 9th.

yeah cintron clearly lost the fight to martinez but sergio has proven himself to be a very good fighter im interested to see how williams cintron plays out if i was a betting man i would pick williams because cintron doesnt handle pressure well and will likely fold but the x factor in this one is how does williams take kermits punches because with williams style he will get hit flush a lot and kermit does have one punch ko power
