I have to be honest, I'm sick of seeing Paulie fight.. I know he is pretty good technically as a boxer but he has no power, doesn't fight aggresivley, and I'm sure the fight will go the distance with Berto...
Rather see Berto fight Collazo again.. or maybe even have a catch weight fight with Angulo (since the rumors are rampant that Berto is over weight)

Hell, I was ready to rip Floyd Mayweather to the gills for going after Cintron.
Williams has offered Martinez good money to fight him in the rematch, and it looks like Martinez is going in another direction. You can't blame Paul Williams for that. And I think it's the promoters messing up the Williams-Pavlik fight more than one fighter being afraid of the other.
Berto-Malinaggi? Wow. I don't know what to say. I mean, I feel sorry for Berto for having to deal with that Haiti earthquake and all, but this is why I've always hated him. Targeting smaller guys with no punch and HBO televising the garbage.
Even though fighting one of hardest punchers around is not much of soft touch.

Cintron should not be underestimated and Malignaggi is great if he really focuses!
Cintron is a very underratted fighter who can give Paul Williams problems. Sergio showed that PW is no invincible despite his incredible punch output and his pressuring style. Cintron is very good and has some power, he can hurt PW if he catches him. SHould be a great fight. I actually think that Martinez v. Pavlik is a great fight too. Martinez is slick and we saw the problems that Kelly had with the slick old B-Hop. Martinez can beat Pavlik and set up a PW rematch. The first fight was a draw at best. Martinez landed clean power shots often on PW. If Martinez is on TV against a big fighter, he will gain lots of fans. He is likeable and is very skilled. He will beat Pavlik and gain lots of fans. Although he lost to Williams. he gained lots of fans. He adapted to PW's style and showed tremendous skill.
As for Malignaggi v. Berto...I think it is a great fight also, from the boxing perspective. If Berto wins, he will get a big fight in the future and will get noticed on the scene, because people like to watch Paulie. If Paulie wins, he will prove that he is serious about becoming an elite boxer. No one can say Paulie not good. The dude is sooooo fast and has a lot of skill. If he showboated less and fought in a more focused tactical way, he could be be great. He is good, but lacks power, but he has enough skill and speed to win fights. He is much more sound a boxer than Berto, who is still rough around the edges, but is a world class athlete, with world class potential.
Just my thoughts....as I boxing fan, I like the matchups. Each of these fights could tell us a lot about the winner and what their true potential is.

I'm one of the biggest fans of Paul Williams on these forums, but I've gotta ask everybody something. Does anybody think he looks kind of like a hypocrite for going after Cintron after Cintron basically did the same exact thing that Pavlik did a couple years ago? I mean Cintron signed a fight with Margarito like two weeks after he pulled out of the fight with Williams. And I never thought Cintron was injured.
He thought that beating Margarito for half the money would've guaranteed him a shot at Cotto which probably would've happened. But it is the idea that I find it strange that Williams doesn't want to do business with Pavlik because he jerked him around, but yet he's turning around and fighting Cintron. Lol. And a lot of people (including myself to a certain extent) attributes Paul's loss to Quintana to having to adjust to a Southpaw from a conventional fighter which is the same reason he almost got beat by Martinez.
Green K for anyone who wants to chime in on my long question as long as it's a reasonable intelligent post.
