Paul williams-kermit cintron april 10

Why is it always ducking if you don't fight someone? Dzinziruk is a no name what so ever here in the states. Cintron has been on HBO many times, over a span of years. There is no money in a Williams V Dzinziruk bout and HBO is not going to allow one of their top up and comers to go out of the country to fight a no namer. Boxing is part of a business, you know.

Two things

1) When you scream and yell that you're the most avoided fighter then turn down a title shot when a Champion is calling you out on you're b.s. Kind of bringing it on himself.

2) If you want to attribute it to lack of money okay but his fans can't then turn around and claim no one will fight him.

Bold - doesn't mean that guys like Angulo aren't still being protected.

I'm one of the biggest fans of Paul Williams on these forums, but I've gotta ask everybody something. Does anybody think he looks kind of like a hypocrite for going after Cintron after Cintron basically did the same exact thing that Pavlik did a couple years ago? I mean Cintron signed a fight with Margarito like two weeks after he pulled out of the fight with Williams. And I never thought Cintron was injured.

He thought that beating Margarito for half the money would've guaranteed him a shot at Cotto which probably would've happened. But it is the idea that I find it strange that Williams doesn't want to do business with Pavlik because he jerked him around, but yet he's turning around and fighting Cintron. Lol. And a lot of people (including myself to a certain extent) attributes Paul's loss to Quintana to having to adjust to a Southpaw from a conventional fighter which is the same reason he almost got beat by Martinez.

I know and I answered it too. P-Will has so many threads on here because he's Maximus. Lol. It's his haters that are gonna knock him. Not me that much although I'll have to admit I don't really think Cintron is anything all that special. He's got that big punch though and that's dangerous.

TO me Paul is getting a little to emotional for what happened to him by Pavlik..demanding 50/50 split..

But this is how it works..Margarito was all but a shoe in to fight Cotto in June of 2007 but instead opted out to FIGHT Williams thinking he could meet up with Cotto in the fall for even more money..turns out he was wrong but luckily he is with Top Rank and was able to fight himself back into the picture for a bout with Cotto a year later.

But I can see why Williams is mad too though..he trained hard for Pavlik just for Pavlik to pull out and then schedule a fight with a journey man 3 weeks later..THis put HBO and Williams behind an eightball and scheduled a fight with Martinez..looked bad in holding on for a win..makes fans question his "most feared man" in boxing slogan..

I think Kermit should make it a point to throw more right hooks in this fight, which was P. Williams kryptonite in his outing with Martinez.

Honestly pwill isnt running from pavlik, staphlik is running from him... pwill wants 50/50 and kelly wont do it... im sorry but pavlik has fought nothing but no names other then taylor and bhop... 3 of his last 5 fights were against clowns ive never heard of before... disgrace... im from ohio and I cant stand pavlik from running from pwill... I use to really like the ghost but im sorry his only win that is even worth a damn to me is against miranda... jermain was exposed by him (stay retired champ) and old man river gave me a boxing lesson by putting on a clinc!! Pwill needs 1 more fight with a name and he will reach the elite status and will start getting all the fights he wants... if he takes on cintron this spring there is a very good chance he could land mosley in the fall since Mosley will be available if floyd wins, which in turn will setup our mega fight... everything is like dominos right now and it all depends on the fight between mosley and may....
