The point about random testing is that you cannot set your own testing schedule. 30 days, 24 days, 14 days, or even 5 days shouldn't be options, that's why it's called RANDOM test. I think Floyd requests was more than fair of a 14 days cut-off.
Freddie Roach: "I have no problem with the testing whatsoever. They can do whatever (Keyword: Whatever) kind of drug testing that they want".
Dr. Don H. Catlin, the head of the Los Angeles-based non-profit Anti-Doping Research, Inc., said a 24-day cutoff for blood testing is not sufficient to prevent abuse. One of the concerns with such a long blood-testing cutoff prior to the date of competition would be the potential use of Erythropoietin, or EPO.
But Catlin said that wouldn’t be the only concern if there were a 24-day cutoff imposed.
“If you have a 24-day window that’s free, with no testing, you can take whatever you want and you’re not going to get caught, end of story,” Catlin said. “[Urine testing] does matter, yes, but they’re not going to catch everything by urine testing alone. What you would do is to take Mircera [a type of EPO], which is available and which is not easy to detect in urine and away you go. You need a blood test.”
"If they give me a 5-day window or something like that I have no problem with it," Roach said. "When they've drawn blood from Manny in the past he feels weaker for three or four days. It may be mental, but it's there."
they're not tryng to do blood test, random or not within 24 days before the fight. before 24 days, the test can be done anytime randomly as long as it's 24 days before the fight. it's interesting you say that because USADA (olympics go through which floyd wants them to go through) backs up urine test for human growth hormones (PEDs) and not blood. for those who got caught using PEDs in the olympics was always through urinalysis, not blood.
I like the part where you told your mom that Pacquiao was willing to take 3 blood tests even though he didnt have to & that nobody in the history of professional boxing had to undergo this kind of tests.
I also like the part where you told your mom that mayweather is 40-0 yet has never asked for a blood test until now.
I also like this little tidbit where you told your mom that Pacquiao has never tested positive for steroids, has no connections to steroid use, no connections to steroid pushers, & has passed all steroid tests in boxing, & the fact that countless fighters throughout the long history of boxing have gone up through many divisions even more pronounced than pacquiao.
..............................
Did you tell your mom by way of boxingscene posts or did you tell your mom by way of crying, hissyfitting histrionics?
Why does everyone always say this has NEVER been asked for????????
BOTH Holyfield and A.Abraham have taken random blood test...They were accused, they took the tests, passed them and beat the **** out of their respective opponents...JUST LIKE THEM, HE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE TESTS WITH A 14 DAY WINDOW...THIS ALONE IS REASONABLE CAUSE TO DRAW SU****ION IN THE VERY VERY LEAST...NO IF ANDS OR BUTS!!!!
SECONDLY HIS TRAINER "ROACH" TRAINED A KNOWN STEROID USER IN one of my alltime favorite fighters, JAMES "LIGHTS OUT" TONEY!
You know, you're trying very hard to believe that the Pacman is on Steroids. Hahaha... You'll even go to great lengths to convince yourself and others around you that he's totally guilty. You hate the Pacman so much that you have also subscribed to the "Floyd Fan Support Group Session" on the Horus podcast network. Hahaha... Whatever... Hahaha. I guess that "Show" makes all of you feel better about yourselves and your loyalty to a fighter whose legacy is totally tarnished and whose boxing career is crumbling as we speak. Hahaha... Whatever... Hahaha...
Do you ever speak boxing..or only ****riding comments about Pacquiao and personal dumbass assumptions about people who choose not to ****ride Pacquiao?...
EDIT: ***Let me clarify one thing. Seems that Jack D Ripper just couldn't hold back his idiotic impulses. My mom doesn't know a DAMN thing about boxing or Mayweather and Pacquio even are. So if that isn't unbiased enough for you, then I don't know what to tell you**
I know I'm about to catch a lot of heat from the Pac Stans/ Floyd haters, but I wanted to get an unbiased opinion on this whole situation, and there was no better person to ask than my mother. So I called her up and broke down the whole situation to her. So here is what I broke down for her:
1. Mayweather/Pacquiao - biggest fight out there; both stand to make about 40 million dollars that night.
2. Mayweather camp is su****ious of Pacquiao's rise in weight classes and domination of bigger fighters.
3. Mayweather requested that they both undergo Olympic style blood testing that is NOT required by the commission.
4. Pacquiao's camp has been making a big fuss about the whole drug testing issue.
5. Pacquiao's camp has been making contradictory statements, such as "we'll take any test in the world" "5 day window is good" "pacquiao is superstitious" etc, etc, etc..
6. Ariza claimed that Pacquiao doesn't know what he's taking.
7. Pacquiao was willing to take a test after the press conference, 30 days before the fight, and after the fight.
8. Pacquiao's final offer was a 24 day window.
9. Pacquiao appears to have officially rejected Mayweather's 14 day window offer and accepted another fight, thus throwing away 40 million dollars.
After explaining all of that to her, I asked her how she thought that made Pacquiao look. Her response was "guilty as hell!" She went on to explain how anyone with nothing to hide would stick out their arm and say "here, take the blood".
Anyway, the point of this thread was not to say, "see, Pacquiao is guilty because my mom said so". I just want to know how many of you have asked completely unbiased people about their take on this whole situation. I believe Teddy Atlas is right and that your average person who has no emotional attachment to either fighter is going to be really su****ious of Pacquiao.
So, have any of you asked non-fans what they thought about the whole situation? If so, what were their responses?
Oh, and don't waste your time with the mom insults or "you're a newbie" nonsense. Either share your experiences or don't bother replying.
You're so right. Your momma don't know **** about boxing. She must've taught you.
Figures. Birds of a feather flock together. In this case, its a duck.
Your mom is a Mayweather Nuthugger and you tell her I said so. Then tell her I said hello and that I hope she has a great day and if I don't talk to her before, to have a great Mothers Day!
