Roy is and always will be one of my favorite boxers, he is one of the fighters that got me watching boxing. All you have to do is go to boxrec.com and look at Roy Jones Jr.'s resume and you will relize what a great fighter he was.

I went with Mickey Ward. I beleive he was fighting Sanchez? and had been injured but refused to quit. Because his punch output dropped so much, everyone includin fans and announcers were booing and calling for him to have his purse held.

After about 5 or 6 rds of enduring nothing but punishment, he finally punched the **** outta Sanchez(body shot) ending the fight. It was then that he revealed in his post fight interview that he'd been hurt since early in the fight.

You can also point to other things as well. Shortly prior to his first fight with Ayala, he discovered the identity of the man who ****d and killed his mother. He used that to psyche himself up, and I would not doubt.....he pictured Ayala being in the ring with him. He was out of his gameplan, and slugged it out with pauly which is usually a "no no" in boxing terms. He was robbed as everyone knows.....and If that does not spell "heartbreak" what does. He LOST to the man who killed his mother (figureatively)

now look where he is. Back again. Tasted vengeance against Archuleta who also robbed him in their first fight. If emotional intelligence was anything like actual intelligence.

Johnny would be ****ing Albert Einstein.

I meant that he so outclassed his opponets, that they never put him in a dangerous spot..hence the "no opposition" comment.
