Ali was not only very good at boxing, he was great for promoting. He brought big popularity to boxing with his loud mouth and his controversial decision to not become a draftee in the war. It's really ironic because lots of the boxers he fought didn't know that Ali was bringing in all kinds of audiences and revenue

How many times did Cassius Clay get knocked down? I don't know, but it seems like I remember some guy coming off a barstool as a replacement fighter and surprising Clay. Clay went to the mat then too. He lost 5 or 6 fights right? What's so great about that?
