I think it does, I think when that bell rings in the first round Pacquiao should just stay still and wait and force Floyd to come to him. And if Floyd doesn't come to him then I guess we have a boring 12 round fight. But I do not think Pacquiao should waste any energy by trying to rush in Ricky Hatton style.

If Pacquiao chases Floyd around the ring does that play into Floyds style of boxing?

Nah I think he has to do that. Not "chase Floyd around the ring" but cut it off and push the action.
If he hesitates and stands back he allows Floyd to dictate the range and pace which would result in an outcome similar to that of the Marquez fight. Pacquiao has a great chance to win if he shows relentless offense and doesn't allow Floyd to cut his workrate down.

Honestly though, I wouldn't chase Floyd. He's probably expecting it and training for it. I would at least start the fight as we suggested, hold my ground in the center of the ring and see what happens. Floyd knows Pacquiao has some real pop, so I don't see him doing anything but back up and potshot for most of the fight.
