That's why Super Six rocks...this is just the start of the whole thing.
i'm sure you wish that was true so you don't look so foolish for saying calzaghe is an all time great. too late it's on paper! hahahahaha laugh you off the internet.

It's hard to say Kessler's loss has no bearing on Calzaghe. On the flip side, if Kessler had won every Super Six fight and dominated the tournament.. A lot of Calzaghe supporters would have come out and said.. Calzaghe beat the guy who dominated the Super Six. So, What type of impact does everyone think Kessler's loss has on Calzaghe? Poll to follow.
Yet another attempt to disparage Joe C. Shame on you. go jerkoff pacquiao

Calzaghe's resume just took a major hit last night.

Kessler was regarded as one of Calzaghe's best wins.

Yeah, sure. You're only as good as the opposition you've faced and it seems Kessler is not as good as we thought he might've been.

However it's all situational so it's not the end of the world or anything.

I always thought Kessler was Calzaghe's best win, and it was a clean good win with no excuses. Now it seems Kessler is overrated and that is a big blow to Calzaghe's record.

Umm.. there's no reason I can't jerk off Pacquiao while at the same time exploring the particulars of Calzaghe's legacy!

explain how it takes a hit? Cal clearly beat Kess an even hurt him w/a body shot.

Ward clearly won, but head butted him twice and clinched excessivly.......he won great. He's a gold medal olympian......in his prime...

..Guess what Kessler will be regarded as one of Wards best wins.....

No absolutely not. A lot of posters here hate Calzaghe to begin with so any chance they get, they will hate on him. When Jones beat Hopkins back in the day but Jones later lost to Glen Johnson, did that somehow tarnish Hopkins' record or accomplishments? Did Margarito's loss to Mosley tarnish Cotto's legacy too? The logic of some people makes no sense at times, even if you try to make it logical.

Kessler looked flabby and slow last night, I have never seen him that bad for some reason. Ward looked great but Kessler made it all that much easier by not engaging or doing anything at all. Kessler has utilized shoulder rolling and excellent balance in the past to destroy people but last night, he was stumbling all over the place and looked like a different guy.

I tell you, these people that hate on Joe should consider themselves lucky that he retired and is not a member of this tourny. Old Calslappy would be proving to ya'll once again why he has an undefeated record by cruising through this thing putting L's on the records of all the guys in it.
