Mayweather said Pac would beat Cotto. So knowing Mayweather, he has already begun preparing for the fight. EVERYONE knows Mayweather is about the money. He (Mayweather) IS about this fight. The question is who will get the most money? That is the ONLY problem with the fight. Has nothing to do with neither guy not wanting to fight. It's the money. IMO 40-40 with the winner taking the remaining 20%. That will add to the drama that will already be involved in the fight.
Your wrong! He came out of retirement because the IRS has been chasing him about the money he owed to them before. The only way to pay them is to fight again as he already bankrupt at that time.

Don't fall for this crap, it's nothing but a negotiation tactic.

It should be 50/50 or 60/40 for the KO winner to make the fight more exciting.

Actually it's true it was even confirmed by the former lawyer. Arum of course disputed it but not like he usual does if something is really false...

Why and when does Mayweather ducked Cotto... as May wanted him he was deemed to green... he fought DLH, Hatton and retired... so, there was not really a time when Cotto was big and May was still on the scene.

Trust me...the money will be too hard for Mayweather to resist. PBF will put the boxing fans through some drama, but he'll ultimately sign. They don't call him "money Mayweather" for nothing!

I think you're all a bunch of ****ing dumb ass Mayweather hating mother****ers, and probably the same pieces of **** who said Hatton would knock out Mayweather. When the **** did you ever hear Cotto call out Mayweather? Look at Cotto's fights, he has a habit of getting wobbled or knocked down. I always thought he was a little overrated. He's tough, has heart, but overarated non the less. AS FAR AS Manny goes, I like him but that wild ass swinging WILL NOT WORK AGAINST A TACTTICIAN!!!! Stop getting caught up into these guys' personalities, its obvious from this thread that your bull**** theories are personal. Btw, PBF's P4P status was based solely on his connection rate vs punches received. Now **** OFF!!!

Cotto had just be Judah and SSM and Floyd had just beat ODLH and Hatton..

Floyd was asked about Cotto after his fight w/Hatton and he said that he wasnt calling out any welters..lol..Cotto was big, sorry you are mis informed

yes fraud gayweather is a longtime ducker, but lets get off the hype train here pac ducked mosley to instead fight a much easier fight in cotto , we all know cotto has looked like **** since the margarito beating lets not pretend to be impressed by a fight we all knew pac was going to win.everybody knows the sugarman is the man at welterweight, pac and mayweather ducking the sugarman, they saw the margarito fight dont want none period.sugarman has a much tougher test in berto than pac had with shotto cotto.

Even when Cotto had been dismantled by Margarito and had just won a belt from bum jennings Floyd still thought he was too dangerous an opponent for his comeback fight and fights Marquez instead.

Yes, because he retired... Cotto was never and will never be as big as even Hatton money wise... and at that time Cotto was devoloping... but why should he wait around for him... if he wants to retire it's his thing... he has major hand problems and devolped bad back problems... he wanted to cash in and retire... how it looks he wasn't wise with his money so he is back and looking for cash...

but after the Pacquiao fight I think nobody wants to see Floyd anymore going up against Cotto
