Probably it's a bit hard to understand for you... Floyd is a reflex fighter... so if you are off 2 years... it hurts a reflex fighter more then any kind of other fighter style... so he took Marquez not because Marquez was the biggest challenge but because Marquez is one of the sharpest punchers in the game, especially counterwise... so if Marquez can't touch you much you know that you are on a good way...

Cotto had a fight lined up in Clottey... so how should he have fought him???

didn't floyd just downplay pac's skills on a sky sports interview---how the **** is that ducking the fight? floyd literally trashed pac in that interview---floyd wants this fight and he know what he's going to do to pac---beat his ass all over that ring---guaranteed---pac is the one saying he needs a vacation and avoiding the answer we all want to hear him say---yes, i want to fight floyd---no if's--and's--or but's about it---the negotiations---floyd being an *******---floyd just wants him to come out and say he wants to fight him---that's all---that's was just this past monday on sky sports---i listened to the 25 minute interview---floyd was right on it--pac seems as if he'll duck the fight--not floyd---and floyd asked the question and answered it very easily---can manny pac beat floyd mayweather jr----absolutely not---roach, arum, nor pac fans can fight for him--pac knows what's in store for him when he fights floyd-- a ****ing ass whooping----i'm taking bets now from people who truly believe in pac....floyd's spanking his ****ing ass---

I doubt Mayweather ducks this fight. Too much money to be made.

Everytime Cotto was asked about Mayweather it was always up to Bob Arum. Arum is lying, bitter ***** whose mad because Floyd left him, and doesn't kiss his ass the way Pac and Cotto do.

Besides I almost never seen a guy coming back and taking the biggest challenge... with the exception of Ray Leonard...

Ali after his hiatus ain't went straight to Frazier...

Cotto was not taking on a world beater in Jennings as well or? But Jennings was probably better then Marquez right???

Vazquez ain't fought a world beater.

Even the great Ray Robinson after his first defeat ain't went back straight against LaMotta... he took a tune up and then went on

And the list goes on and on... but if Floyd does it, it's because he is scared *looooooooooooooool*

Yeah, a fighter who is smaller then him but has more skill then most of the world has no chance BUT a full blown Welterweight who is way slower with hand and feet and less skilled has a chance of course...

Coming from the guy who believes Mosley beat Cotto *loooooooooooool*

Don't speak on a subject you clearly don't understand.

I do admire the fact than a Pacquiao apologist such as yourself pretty much admits that Cotto was faded and weight drained.

as roach say he can weight at 147lbs but the fight will cancelled if he weights over 147lbs. it is more shamefull if cotto came in during the weight-n at 147 coz he will still be destroyed by the beast from the east.

Roach actually said that he wants Mayweather to come down to 145,just as Cotto did.I do wish team Pacquiao shared the same confidence that you have, they wouldn't have had to have had Cotto come down an extra two pounds to fit Pacquiao's preference then.

Ask Tommy about Aaron Pryor... I had the chance to meet Tommy once and I talked about the fight with him and even why he ain't fought him at the Pro's... do you wanna know his answer???.
Antonio Cervantes was most certainly shot by the time he fought Aaron Pryor.I have met Santa Claus and he tells me that you are a liar. The reason Aaron Pryor never fought Thomas Hearns as a pro is because Pryor didn't have the balls to move up a weight class.

I didn't list any sources idiot.I can tell the difference between two fighters and where they stand in class,it's not difficult. One fighter rose to the occasion against elite competition on numerous occasions and the other struggled with supbar competition and had one excellent(although questionable) performance against an elite(although faded) fighter in his entire career.

You watched the legendary nights episode and that is your source and unfortunately for you that exposes you as a complete and utter newb who doesn't know anything about this sport.Since when does calling out a much greater personality and fighter than yourself at a public press conference quate to the other ducking?

Aaron Pryor admitted to turning down $500,000 to fight Ray Leonard in his post fight interview after eating Lennox Blackmoore. There was a thread made about it here

The more I talk to you, the more I'm confused of which Aaron Pryor we are talking about.

He struggled against Miguel Montilla,Dujuan Johnson,Leonidas Asprilla and received a gift decision against Gary Hinton

You haven't been watching boxing very long have you? Arum stopped a fight between Cotto and Mayweather happening back in 2005 when both men were the top junior welterweights and when Arum was promoting Mayweather as the greatest thing since sliced bread.
