At least he had the ganas and balls to do what FMJ never will do, and thats take on the best of his division...hope Cotto comes back and we get some good fights outta him, i know i'll be looking forward to it.

Including Pacquiao, and 2 years before that fight, the only guys miguel faced was
Clottey
Jennings
Margarito
Gomez
Hardly 5 elite fighters now is it?
Funny that you have to lie.

Coulda woulda shoulda eh...
He made boneheaded decisions from the start. One was taking a catchweight after holding firm that he only fights @ 47...Dont go messing around with your weight when youve spent so much time maturing into it..1lb or not i just dont agree with it...Not saying it was the cause of anything though.
Obviously the other was keeping his inexperienced corner...Didnt M. Stewart offer his services?
Anyways much luck to him though...

i think it's a good thing that you can recognize your flaws and be disappointed in yourself
but you can't feel sorry for yourself, you have to correct your mistakes
can't wait to see Miguel in the ring again!

Cotto HASN'T fought 5 elite fighters in less than 2 years.
You know somethings lacking when you have to start making **** up.

I'm a huge fan of Cotto and I really think he would have made it easier for himself had he boxed. But I still believed Pac had an answer for that game plan. Even if Cotto stuck and moved, Pac would have made him fight. In fact I think the only reason Cotto opened up was becasue he needed to rally from Pacquiao's flurries. Only reason Pac had trouble cornering Cotto in the later stages was that he was trying to decapitate Cotto with every punch. Other than that, Pac was still timing Cotto beautifully.
I'm glad Cotto is eager to get back into it. I think the Margarito fight was harder to take because:
a) He knew was the better fighter and was suppose to beat Margarito.
b) He was winning the fight and had it slipped away.
I think he respects Pac's skills a great deal and that's why the hunger did not recede.
