I don't see how Miguel can be greater. When we take a step back, MAC has taken hard shots from Torres, Corley, Judah, annd Mosley. He got a bit battered by Clottey. And he got beaten up badly by Margarito and Pacquiao.

That is a lot of accumulative punishment. I'm concerned for Miguel.

I talked to Miguels Cousin Earlier today, and said Miguel is pissed at himself, for going toe - toe with Pac. He told me ,Miguel was sayin that when he was boxing Pacquiao, he was winning easy does rounds, but when he decided to go all macho and match punch per punch he made a mistake.


He said Cotto is really angry and eager to heal fast so he can get in the ring as fast as posibble.

From what he told me, the atmosphere wasnt like when Cotto lost to margo that everyody was down and dissapointed, he said that Cotto is really eager to go and kick ass. He is very angry at himself, for choosing the wrong game plan. Cotto is mad and pissed and not dissapointed nor discourage, he looks like a man on a mission. Miguel also said he lost to a great one last saturday, so he will leave it at that.

Cotto is not a boxer, so besides going toe to toe with Pacquiao I don't know what other game plan he had in mind

Cotto would have probably beaten any other fighter from the welter weight division. Other fighters can punch, but they can't keep up the pace like Pac. Others that can keep up the pace don't have Mannys punching power . Mannys speed and angles makes you turn reckless unless you compose yourself. Cotto would've probably settle down against other fighters, but against Pac its very difficult. Even though he might make an smarter fight next time around I really think he can't take a beaten as nearly as good after the Antonio fight. Each time around he will be less resistant to pain. But I still hope for him the best because he fights the best.

He's really flawed, and he shows the heart of a deer in headlights when the going gets tough. And yet his fans make him out to be a Puerto Rican Arguello.

Glad to know he's got the desire. It's also nice to hear him admit what was wrong and hopefully he will learn from it and grow stronger. I understand how he feels, I would be pissed too. Heck, I'm not in his shoes and I was pissed at the way he fought. Emotions got the best of him that night.
