Is frustrating to see a talent like Cotto waste such important legacy years having a crappy corner.
He needs a new trainer.

He told me ,Miguel was sayin that when he was boxing Pacquiao, he was winning easy does rounds, but when he decided to go all macho and match punch per punch he made a mistake.
He said Cotto is really angry and eager to heal fast so he can get in the ring as fast as posibble.
From what he told me, the atmosphere wasnt like when Cotto lost to margo that everyody was down and dissapointed, he said that Cotto is really eager to go and kick ass. He is very angry at himself, for choosing the wrong game plan. Cotto is mad and pissed and not dissapointed nor discourage, he looks like a man on a mission. Miguel also said he lost to a great one last saturday, so he will leave it at that.
he "chose" to fight like an unintelligent amateur trained by some amateur hour buddy of his...
i like cotto, but you got to be a professional inside the ring, and you have to hire professional trainers if you want to win a world class fight...that didnt happen, so cotto lost...
simple, really...

Cotto lost because he didn't have a good trainer. /sarcasm
The fact that he's slow as **** and his head is a target or that he has a glass jaw didn't have to do anything with it.
Guys. No matter how Cotto would have fought that fight, he was doomed.
If you wanna make some better excuses, say something like "He didn't train enough".
i really believe Cotto doesn't train enough btw. I don't think he runs as much as he's supposed to and it's a known fact that running increases punching consistency, power, ring movement, speed etc..

I seriously cannot see any more of his fights if he decides to duck Margarito.. I mean it's just pointless. Wtf are we gonna see him fight for.. it's not like he's even entertaining to watch.
A hamster fight is even more exciting to watch than cotto's slow, ugly, non-technical hunchback fighting style

I totally agree with everything and yes he should be pissed with himself because i would if that was me, When Cotto jabbed Pac was very uncomfortable and didnt know what to do.
But then Cotto should have sticked to that but he got over confident and got drawn into a mini-brawl earlier in the first three rounds, And because Pac was faster and quicker he was able to land more punches on Cotto who felt he needs to answer back quicker instead of taking his time.
For me Cotto lost his head and it played perfectly into Roach and Pac's hands.

The reason he stopped using his jab is because he thought it's not becoming effective really as he is feeling the sting of Pac's punches WHICH they thought is not much.
That point he decided to go for broke was his decision, his corner don't have anything to say either as they were a bit surprised with Pac's power and absrobing Cotto's punches.
No matter what he did that night, nothing changes, even if the gameplan applied, he would still loss as they never thought and got readied for Pac's chin and power how much more those gazillion punches which all carries the same sting.
Still i believe Cotto can come back, i just hate they did not stop the fight earlier to make him hunger more. It's fortunate Pac eased up during the latter rounds as i was afraid Cotto might get some serious damage there as he has lost it already. No use to fight something you can't win, much better to retreat and fight another day.
Hell, if Pac's still around 2-3 years from now, i would'n be surprised if they go Firepower II and i would be still loving it just like i love that explosive first 5 rounds.
Cotto should get back, he's great for boxing, one who got cojones and do the talking in the ring. Doesn;t make excuses either and that's one sign of a great fighter.
Unlike some business minded fighter out there... (sorry to go ther, can;t help it really)
