Miguel Cotto has not been impressive in his last 3 outings. He fought good competition coming up and touted to be better than Felix Trinidad but against his last 3 top level opponents he's lost one and barely won the other two. Judging from his performance alone there is no reason to believe he will beat Pacquaio. IMO Cotto lost the Mosley fight.. Pac not only has faster hand speed but I believe the biggest factor is going to be footspeed and lateral movement. Cottos slower footspeed and limited lateral movement may be a huge disadvantage in this fight. Like Hopkins lateral movement exposed both Pavlik and Wright. The difference in lateral movement and footspeed could make this fight easier for Pacquaio than expected. While Cotto has a punchers chance Pac has the power and speed to end early on KO, end in middle rounds on TKO from another Cotto cut or late KO or TKO fro
Cotto routinely fading. Stamina is another big advantage for Pac. There are a lot of disadvantages for Cotto to overcome. Pac only has to overcome power shots. I truly believe we are looking at one of the greatest athletes of our era. I'm looking for Pac to DESTROY Cotto and solidify his pound for pound status, Tasmanian Devil status, modern day Bruce Lee status, Mayweathers most avoided status. Pac by TKO

i think your just not giving cotto enough credit than he deserves clottey margarito and mosley not to mention judah thats murders row right there name another fighter that went through them names one after another in a dominoe effect and come away with 3/4*..i put the Astrix there because although go as far as to say margarito had illegal wraps i dont think hes has done it more than once...

in the mosley fight he controlled that ring landed the cleaner shots, backed mosley up the whole night and he deserved the win

the clottey fight he was cut badly and the blood was rushin in his left eye so he couldnt see some of the right hand shots from clottey but when cotto trapped him i think its was rd 6 not sure he trapped him in the corner for a full minute and pounded a way the fight was still up for grabs in the 11th and 12th and cotto dug deep and was more hungrier than clottey was and took both the rds and as you see in the score cards those 2 rds was the deciding factor despite the flash kd in the first..

as far as mayweathers most avoided keep dreamin pac man will taste floyd wrath soon enough

The facts.....

Hey man. U don't honestly think that manny woulda beat oscar if he hadn't been weight drained do u????? Oscar hadn't been a welterweight for 12 years!!!! He weighed in @ 145 and he didn't gain any weight over night! Which means he was still 145 on the night of the fight. That's unheard of. It's nobody's fought but oscar's for taking the fight. In his prime, this fight would not have happened because oscar woulda knocked manny out in the 1st or 2nd round. Stop acting like manny is a god or something. Same thing happened with mosley and margacheeto. He was weight drained for that fight. I give mosley some credit but i know for a fact he was bothered by having to lose so much weight in training. Just look @ his punch output each round and he was even slower than normal and he was tired and sluggish when the fight ended. All signs of problems with weight. And how come every1 is talking about how margacheeto took something outta cotto but no1 is saying that mabe he took a little out of him as well?? His performance against mosley was very suspect to say the least.
