What a weak lie. Booty ennis has no intention of moving up and fighting real competition. He's gonna stay in that weak division until all the top guys beat each other

Hey Bozy, just ask the used car salesman AKA Hearn not to lowball Normand and Barrios, and you may get your wish.

He is going to have to move up. That tells you all you need about boxing today. 147 used to be the 'blue riband' division, it used to be thick with talent. NoMo. Norman is Ok, nothing special there. Barrios has already been KO'd by Keith Thurman. There is nobody of quality around & nobody coming up from 140, Haney or Garcia, would be even remotely a challenge. Sad, boxing is dying bro

Lowball? Hearn offered Norman $1.7 million to fight Ennis.

Norman turned that down to fight Cuevas for $150,000 instead.

Eddy will sweat Josh Kelly down to jr. middle for Boots. Eddy doesn't take any chances with his merch.

He got offered $1.7mil to be guaranteed to lose his belt on his first defense, and he rejected it. Turns out it was a winning move as Norman is now getting $1mil from a significantly easier opponent in Sasaki for his second defense while still keeping the belt and still having the unification offer available with an extra belt after the fight. Sounds like he won his bet.

Boots should unify with Barrios first while Norman goes get his paid vacation in Japan. Barrios is basically waiting to be defeated anyway.

Norman just fought and hardly worked up a sweat. Boots is in good shape too. They are in sync and can fight each other in 2 or 3 months, no problem. Make it happen, Eddie. It will keep your precious Boots in the public's imagination if you can keep him fighting regularly and often.

That is because Normal Jr. is not ready yet ............ no shame in that better then fighting him and looking like Stanz did over the weekend, the time will come the fight will happen. 24 years old now that offer was last year. The number i do not know but i remember when it was declined to sign. Both will have decent fight cards as time passes,
